Bad Boy V: Preview To Good to be True

Bad Boy Mike, Michael Jackson, previews, Sabah 42 Comments

“I’m going to cut my hair.”

Michael made his disapproval known, Sabah could see it clearly on his face, in  his reflection in the mirror.

“No, I told you don’t do that.  I like it the way it is.”

“I am.  I need a new look when I go to Rome.”

“Don’t cut it.  For me.”

Maybe it was the fact that they’d spent the last few days together, doing regular things like a regular couple.  Maybe it was what she’d seen at Granpa Scruse’s house, how Michael’s family behaved and how he responded to that behavior.  Maybe it was because she had nursed him and bandaged his feet.  Whatever it was, Sabah felt bold and empowered. There was something about caring for someone when they were sick that made you feel like you had some legitimate say in their life.  So when Sabah spoke,  she felt she had every right to say what she was saying.

With her arms folded over her chest, Sabah told him emphatically, “Okay, I won’t cut my hair if you don’t have any more plastic surgery.”

Michael’s smock rustled as he swerved away from the mirror to face her. His face was red and his pupils dilated, “Pardon?”

“You heard me. . . your fans are screaming, fainting at your concerts, because they think you’re the best thing since sliced bread.  Doesn’t that mean anything to you?  Don’t you think I have good taste?  Do you think I’m lying to you?”

“But that’s what — look,.”  Michael’s eyes pleaded with her, warned her not to go there.  Sabah was about to enter into uncharted territory, a place that she didn’t understand.  A place that she didn’t want to understand, because to understand it you had to feel that way.   Michael couldn’t imagine any one actually wanting to feel like he did about how he looked.  He didn’t even want to feel like that, but he did, and that was the problem.

“You don’t understand.  You don’t — you don’t get it.  You’re not getting it.   It’s not about you or them or anyone even.  It’s how I feel about myself.  What am I suppose to do?   I can’t just stop feeling how I feel about myself.  You just don’t just wake up one day and say, Yes, I love myself now.  I’m fine.  I’m perfect.

“Perfect?   I’m not saying that.  I  would never even suggest ” —

“Then what are you saying?  What are you — you’re asking me what?  Why would you say that to me?”  Michael looked away, hurt and bewildered.  “Just out of the blue.  You know how I feel about this.”

“How can I know when you’ve never told me?  We can’t tip toe around this topic for the rest of our lives.  This conversation has been a long time coming.”

“Like the one you had with Frank?”

“Frank?”  Michael had thrown her for a loop.  “What does Frank have to do with this?”

“Frank told me about your little meeting with him.  So what’s that about?  What are you up to?”

Stay tuned . . . . .

Gulp  Oh dear – trouble in paradise!

I wonder how many of Michael’s close associates and friends ever felt brave enough to challenge him about the plastic surgery?

I think if they had have done Michael would have withdrawn and severed the relationship so this is very brave of Sabah.

Confronting any addict about their problem is very brave. And as always Michael changes the subject and challenges Sabah.

Sometimes I wonder if we confuse unconditional love with love that skips over problems like this. I wonder if in the end Michael sought the love of his fans simply because they didn’t challenge him.

Oh, I can’t wait to see how you are going to deal with this issue Sabine. Sabah certinly is brave to confront him. Maybe she is so confident in their relationship now, that she is willing to push him enough so that he can actually face it and talk about it. I wonder if he will push her away. But they have become so in tune with each other now, that I can’t see him doing that, at least not for very long.

I wonder what’s going on with Frank.?

Can’t wait to read the rest.

  3. Frodes says:

    SO STOKED FOR THIS.

But, as usual, it always breaks my heart to know that Michael didn’t realize how beautiful he was. Inside and out. It’s just awful. And I get so angry about it cause it shouldn’t have been that way.

Thanks for the preview, this is gonna be an awesome chapter!!!

  4. Mercedes says:

    UPDATE. SOOOOOOON((:
    your amazing sabine!

  5. SuperSabine says:

    Hey guys!!!!

I thought I would write the next chapter of Tame the Wild Cobra, but Bad Boy Mike kept churning in my head and keeping me up all night.

soooooo, you’ll find out what happens sooner than you think!!!!!

Frodes, wow, you think its going to be awesome even before reading it :w00t: that’s nice!

Pitundermj, yeah, Sabah is taking a chance isn’t she, venturing into those testy waters!!!
Will Michael push her away? That’s certainly possible!!!

I think it’s beautiful that you just can’t *see* him doing that. That means that in your mind they have a solid relationship with a good foundation!!!! This to me spells true love!

Jenny: Gulp  Oh dear – trouble in paradise!

I wonder how many of Michael’s close associates and friends ever felt brave enough to challenge him about the plastic surgery?

Hi Jenny, you raise such great points.

I mean there’s the safe kind of love that doesn’t push or challenge, right, and I suppose Michael got that from his fans. Many would call that unconditional, but I don’t think so, because it was conditioned, for a lot of people, on him holding fast to an image.

Michael certainly in real life cut a lot of people out of his life. Many say it was because they challenged him. Like Schmuley. I don’t know. I’m not convinced. A lot of times people want to help people for their *own good* but it feels controlling to the recipient of that help, who didn’t ask and isn’t ready. And many times the helper really just wants to control the other person. LMP comes to mind.

But when a person is an addict or has a problem that’s out of control, they won’t get ready, unless they’re pushed.

So what does a person do?

I think every parent faces this problem. You see your kids messing up and you want to save them but you can’t live their life for them. So I think the answer is creating consequences or letting the person suffer the consequences.

See to me that was the problem with the fans — there was no consequence for Michael. Nothing that Michael did was ever going to lose him his loyal fan base. We loved him that much. On the one hand a great thing, on the other hand not so good if you’re enabling a bad problem.

Anyway I’m rambling. There just was so much that the fans could ever do in Michael’s personal life. It’s the people who he was friends with that have to be held accountable. Notice I don’t even mention his family, ’cause I think, like any addict, the family is sick and the addict has the symptoms. The whole family needs help to get better, not just the addict.

They were the ones, the friends/ family members, who enabled, stayed silent when they should have spoken, turned a blind eye. Reminds me of Karen, who points fingers at Sony and others, but what did SHE do?

Did anyone ever say/do anything? I mean we can never know, right.

Still, I really understand that it’s hard to speak up when it might cost you your pay check and some people are that shallow.

Which raises the question, how many people around Michael were actually and truly his real friend?

Elizabeth, and McCauley, and maybe a few others we don’t know about.

Anyway I think what Sabah is doing here, I think, is being a real, true friend

  6. Ms.Thang says:

@Sabine…(CLEARS THROAT)….Here yee, here yee….I would just like to say, I miss you girl, all the fellow addicts as well, but more importantly, THIS is going to be GOOD!!!! Oscar worthy for BEST Screen Writing, etc!.

I’ve been thinking, many wonder why MJ couldn’t see how he appeared to us, and I often wonder, the way you are treated and valued as a child, molds and shapes what you feel and how you feel about your self-worth and confidence. Michael was treated like a DOG literally, like cattle being bought and sold to the highest bidder from the time he was FIVE. Then double that with your bastard of a father demeaning you, and emotionally and psychologically abusing you,and your own MOTHER doing nothing…. MJ’s spirit had been broken down, and deep inside, though he aged chronologically, emotionally he was still that little boy who didn’t have a chance to LIVE and be told and have it reinforced that he was good enough, good looking, worth more than just a song and dance, that he WAS worthy of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE…It’s just so sad. Michael was Peter Pan, he was that lost little boy who longed for a home, a friend,a family, that appreciated him for HIM, and not just what he could do for THEM…I thank God everyday that he found his WENDY in Elizabeth, and that though short, he found his NEVERLAND in the eyes of his children (the angel). I HATE you Joe and Katherine, and I never say that, but to do THAT to a child is an atrocious sin and shame. Please forgive my language Sabine.

No song could be more fitting for MJ than Sarah Mclachlans (sp?) song “In the Arm’s of an Angel”…

  7. SuperSabine says:

    Hi Ms. Thang!!!!

You were writing when I was.

Well, I for one want to stand up and applaud you for GETTING IT!!!

I mean, you really get it, and it may sound harsh and unkind to many, but sometimes the truth is not so pretty.

Michael didn’t get the love and the support at home that could mold and build a core personality. Then he was thrust into the spotlight, and forced to get love from the fickle world who only really likes you when you’re making them feel good.

I mean that’s a recipe for disaster. And i spoke about it before with Jenny. Most child stars face that problem, because they have parents who are exploiting them, and they are forced to deal with an adult life before they’re actually grown up.

So yes, emotionally, I agree with you, michael in many ways was a little boy.

Funny, some of the criticism I got about “Sabah” is that she’s immature.

But Sabah is a little girl, too, emotionally, to match Michael’s stunted growth.

Through love and understanding, they should grow together.

Anyway, this is going to be one of those *growth* chapters. I hope you guys find it beautiful!!!!

p.s. Ms. Thang I love Sara McLachlan!!!! And that song IS perfect and she sounds like an Angel singing it!

    Spend all your time waiting
    For that second chance
For the break that would make it okay

      There’s always some reason
      To feel not good enough
Oh,and it’s hard at the end of the day
      I need some distraction
      Oh a beautiful release

    Memories seep from my veins

    Let me be empty
    And weightless and maybe
    I’ll find some peace tonight

In the arms of the angel
    Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
    Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight LIFE
      Oh,and everywhere you turn
There’s vultures and thieves at your back

    The storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack

    It don’t make no difference
    Escaping one LAST time
    It’s easier to believe . . .
    in this sweet madness
    Oh,this glorious sadness
that brings me to my knees

In the arms of the angel
    Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
Oh,you are pulled from the wreckage
    Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

You’re in the arms of YOUR angel
May you find some comfort here

Sabah IS Michael’s angel. May he find some comfort here. (I’ll probably use this song to head out a chapter in the future. I can imagine Michael listening to this song and crying his little heart out  )

  8. Lisa says:

Oh relationship trouble. I knew it was going to happen sometime. I just hope tht they overcome them are become stronger than ever

  9. foreverinmyheart says:

wow!! my heart just dropped….i can’t wait to hear this conversation……

  10. katrina.denise says:

My heart is beating so fast! I scared for her and him. :cwy:

  11. Sept11984 says:

This is a conversation that is a long time coming … but it’s not going to be easy. I don’t know if Sabah can really convince him not to keep up with the surgery. She may only be able to try to keep reinforcing how she feels about him and how beautiful and sexy she knows he is. I don’t know if she can ‘talk’ him out of it … but she can sure try.
I can’t wait for the full chapter, I suspect this may be a tear jerker, I always get choked up when Sabah loving tells Michael he is a beautiful person inside and out.

  12. SuperSabine says:

Hey!!!! I see some faces I haven’t seen in a while!!! Lisa, Forever, Katrina, and Sept!!!

I’m so excited to see the reaction when I do post it. Really and truly, it’s almost finished!!!!! :w00t:

I know, get outta here right! I haven’t put up a new chapter this fast in how long.

Truthfully, I was a little annoyed with the technical difficulties and all that jazz and it KILLS my inspiration!!!!! Okay, confession time over.

Soooooo yeah, I thought this comment was very intersting:

but it’s not going to be easy. I don’t know if Sabah can really convince him not to keep up with the surgery. She may only be able to try to keep reinforcing how she feels about him and how beautiful and sexy she knows he is. I don’t know if she can ‘talk’ him out of it … but she can sure try.

It’s the old beauty and the beast dilemma. I won’t say what I mean but let you guys ponder it.

    :w00t: — no, :getlost: — um, :wassat:

damn it, :pinch: I can’t find the right smiley!!!

Gracie, I’d be hun-nored if you digested and then regurgitated all over Bad Boy Mike IV! :w00t:

You know I love your comments honey!!!! :kissing:

Your poor baby, was he trying to jerk? My daughter was doing that crap all summer long and driving me crazy. The house was all shaking!!!!! If you don’t know what jerk is, ask your son. He knows!!!!!! Now she’s doing the Duggie, which is easier on my floors!!!!! (your son knows what that is too!)

Okay, cover charge!!! Gotcha. You know in NY, starving artists play music on the streets. I remember one night a man was playing his violin in the subway. The sweetest music I ever heard. You could tell he was an artist too. He had that dreamy look in his eyes

  13. Shamone777 says:

OMG! Sabine…you´re really fast right now :) How great to hear that you are inspired so much you wrote the a whole new chapter :D I have just finished BBM4 crying my eyes out!!!! I just loved that chapter, it feels so good to see their love growing and growing everyday. The way you´re writing your stories makes it possible for the readers to really feel the atmosphere, the tension and the emotions. I am so happy, that you don´t stop writing yet! :)
And of course I can´t wait how you´re working this issue out between Sabah and Michael and the plastic surgery!!!
I totally agree with Ms Thang about her statements regarding Joseph and Katherine. I think Katherine wasn´t really any better than Joseph was! But I have to say also that they probably didn´t knew better…It is hard to talk about those issues, because we weren´t there at the time and didn´t witness their growing up but from what we know it look to me, that she (K) also did many mistakes and wasn´t the loving mother Michael would have needed! Poor baby…

Well, anyway thank you again for creating this amazing story! I love every word of it, I swear! :)
Keep on with the force don´t stop! Don´t stop til you get enough :D
    :-*

  14. SuperSabine says:

Amelie, Look how perfect your English is!!!! Shamone, tell the truth, you’d been taking lessons!!!!

Your comment made me feel all mushy inside. I was almost ready to cry. You’re very sweet!!!!!

Yes, I’m very inspired, it’s a wonderful feeling, because I loooooove creating!!!! It’s just the most natural high!!!

You’re right of course, about Katherine and Joseph — they didn’t know better. If I thought for one minute that they knew better, and purposely chose to treat their children and most especially Michael like that, then I would know for a fact that they are evil!!!!

People do what they do until they know better. The sad part about them is that they refuse to learn and grow, by making excuses and lying.

Something you will NOT see Sabah and Michael doing to each other!!!!!

I am determined to write a love story about healthy love!!!!!

So stay tuned!!! The chapter will be up before you know it!!!

And thanks for the lovely comment!

  15. PaulaRobinson says:

Well, it had to come… but OMG I feel nervous in the pit of my stomach. Course, at the same time, I can’t wait to read it, lol! I know, Sabine, that your handling of this issue will be perfectly judged as ever. But it’s a tough one. I feel genuine trepidation about where Sabah is about to tread – I’m going to be chewing my nails while I read. Then again, all good stories have to have jeopardy, right? I want to wish Sabah good luck, she will need it… talk about walking into a minefield. Brave woman indeed! And a brave character requires a brave author (lucky we have one then).

Loving all the previous comments, you people are all so insightful. The thoughts on the fans, particularly. Gosh, this is going to give us lots to think about, but I think also some sadness and some ‘if only’ feelings.

Can’t wait to read it now, glad you are nearly done Sabine, thanks for the very gripping preview. Also have to say what an extaordinarily superperfect choice of pic to go with the story… looks like Sabah is getting the glare of doom right there from Michael, uh-oh!

  16. JasmineWhite says:

    Lookin’ forward to it!!

  17. Mj'sbutterfly says:

I LOVE it !!! & especially michael telling her not to cut her hair. that’s sooo cute !! I cannot wait to read it all ! Thank you Sabine!

  18. MaryBrewer says:

Wow, this is a touchy, controversial topic to take up in a story! Very brave of you! :) I’m interested to see what you do with it, and how it turns out. You’re a good writer. Keep it up!

  19. Neicy says:

OH MY GOODNESS! WOW! I am sooo glad this subject matter has come up and I am very anxious to know how everything is gonna turn out. I just already know that this chapter is gonna be an excellent read. Keep up the great work Sabine!
    *Smooches* :kissing:

  20. Ms.Thang says:

@Sabine…Exactly Sabz, I always say, that if you can’t stand for something, you’ll fall for ANYTHING!! The TRUTH often hurts, but it should, to make you see that your wrongs were just that, WRONG. I LOVE Sara too, that’s why EVERYTIME I hear that song, MJ comes to my mind, and the sadness for him lingers…he didn’t have a CHANCE…..:cwy: I felt that the song encompasses Michael’s life and the torture he endured in this hellish life..BUT, I get some small measure of happiness that now Michael is singing with the angels, and no worries will he ever see… It’s US that I feel sorry for because this world is full of people who have no EMPATHY and are just down-right EVIL…I think everyday, “Lord pray for us, for they know not, what they know”.

SuperSabine: Hi Ms. Thang!!!!You were writing when I was.Well, I for one want to stand up and applaud you for GETTING IT!!!I mean, you really get it, and it may sound harsh and unkind to many, but sometimes the truth is not so pretty.Michael didn’t get the love and the support at home that could mold and build a core personality. 21. Ms.Thang says:

@Shamone…Hi, it’s nice to make your acquantance! :) How are you, and where do you haile from fellow addict? I hail from Montgomery, Al via Michael’s heart! :) Ok, now back to my topic lol. Thank you for understanding my post, and yes, I agree that we ALL make mistakes, but to continue to perpetrate that cruel action on your child, even when you KNOW and have been told by your own child how this has affected him, and to dismiss him, makes your future actions, no mistakes, but shows that YOU are who YOU were THEN and NOW..I hope that makes sense. True, we didn’t live with them, but you have to admit that their actions and words have all but confirmed EVERYTHING MJ EVER said about THEM and how those KIDS were treated…just look at this mess they have going on constantly now with PPB….THEY(including and more importantly) Katherine are and have continued to exploit these kids for profit since MJ passed shamelessly…and let’s not forget her linking these innocent children up with a pornographer… history seems to be repeating itself, and she pretends as if she doesn’t know what she’s doing, but she does…even against her own deceased son’s wishes regarding his own children. Katherine is exactly one of those who MJ sang about in his song “MONEY”… ANYTHING, ANYTHING,M ANYTHING FOR MONEY..LIE FOR IT, DIE FOR IT, EVEN SELL YOUR SOUL TO THE DEVIL”! She should be ASHAMED… I know that’s a lot to read, but I’ve quite honestly had my fill of the Jackson’s, and I’m like, screw them ALL, except PPB, they are my ONLY concern now when it comes to the name JACKSON.

Shamone777: OMG! Sabine…you´re really fast right now :) How great to hear that you are inspired so much you wrote the a whole new chapter :D I have just finished BBM4 crying my eyes out!!!! 22. luvmj4allmylife says:

Uh Oh I see this is gonna be the Mutha of all arguments…Can’t wait to see what happens!

  23. SuperSabine says:

Ms. Thang, Girl, you know that sad part is that Michael thought his mother was perfect. He couldn’t see her clearly. He already knew about Joe, so he needed to see at least one of the parents as on his side otherwise it would have been too hopeless. that happens a lot to people when they have to make a choice. I’ve seen it in my own life. When having to choose between two evils, they just get tunnel vision and do that black and white thing — you’re bad and she’s good; it’s only cause it’s so scary to realize someone you’ve love and opened up too has been lying and using you.

Now let that be your parent, many people don’t EVER want to admit it.

Niecy, you’re GLAD the subject came up!!! Woohoo! That’s what I’m talkin’ ’bout!

MaryBrewster, I LOVE touchy, controversial topics!!! I really do. I’m not a tip toe around the pink elephant in the room kind of person at all!!!! Thanks for saying I’m a good writer!!!!!

    I can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts.

    Hi Jasmine, MjsButterfly and LuvMJ!!!

I’m proofreading guys! I’m proofreading!!!! :silly:

  24. Ms.Thang says:

@Sabine…What you spoke was the TRUTH!! What child wants to accept or believe that neither parent really gives a you know what about them..? NONE…It’s just sad, because the man was forced to ignore and turn a blind eye to his mother’s antics..He KNEW, but what choice did he have, lose one or lose both?

Girl..Those ARE my parents, and I somehow through the grace of God have the ability through it all, to see my parents for who THEY are, the GOOD and the BAD, but MJ didn’t have a choice..although I KNOW from Katherine’s behavior that deep down she KNOWS MJ considered Diana Ross as a MOTHER FIGURE, and I KNOW it pissed her when he bestowed no greater honor than entrusting her as a backup guardian for his kids, regardless of if they were as close as they use to be, he saw something in her and felt something for her and her ability to be a great parent, and I bet it perturbes Katherine even now. IMO, ELIZABETH and Diana were better Mother’s to Michael than his own biological mother, that’s my personal opinion. We can’t pick our families sadly, but we CAN pick those who mean something great to us, and he chose THEM..YES, he loved his mother, but I’m sure he questioned her love for him deep down sometimes and that added to MJ’s anguish and emotional suffering…

Now you know you need to stop throwing these hints out Sabz, getting us addicts all worked up lol (PROOFREADING)

  25. Dlsnj says:

Wow Sabine, I was so excited when I saw this preview. i am so glad that Bad Boy Mike is churning in your head, because it is my favorite. I am cant wait to see what happens with this. Hopefully Sabah can get through to him. I wish that Michael had someone like Sabah in his life. My heart bleeds for Michael and what he had to endure in his life. All of the backstabbing and maneuvering to get to him. And the truly sad part was it wasnt for him but for what he could do for them with his money. From his family all the way down the line…to the evil greedy low lifes who accused him of something that he wasnt even capable of for his MONEY. The low lifes will get theirs as I believe Karma is a bitch. But his family while I believe they loved him. They are a dysfunctional bunch. Some of the stories are just unbelievable. Starting with Joe and Katherine. They were supposed to set the example for their children. Joe got it in right in front of his young boys. And Katherine stayed, and put up with it. And when she did do something about it, she took her two youngest and went and beat up on the other woman, not her husband. Great examples huh. Then you have the Randy, Jermaine and Alajandra ordeal. I mean what kind of s*** is that. Marry have kids with Randy, divorce, then marry and have kids with Jermaine. So the kids are not only cousins they are half brothers and half sisters. That is really messed up. And the estate has to evict her, she wont leave after living there for twenty years. Where are the men?
Then you have the Latoya ordeal with Jack Gordon and the awful statements she made about Michael. What the H*** is that?
Then you have the Randy and Bernadette Swann ardeal at Tina Turners house. Google it if you dont know about it. It is really really messed up. Then the Jackie and Paula Abdul at the drive in movie ordeal. Jackies wife confronted them and ended up running over him with her car breaking his leg. Is all this normal? No wonder Michael distanced himself. And they billed themselves as a normal family? How about Jermaine writing that song Word to the Badd? The list goes on and on. And this is just what little came out. I am sure there is so much more.I just have to shake my head when I see that Katherine is dealing with this Howard Mann character and she is even involving the children in it. What is wrong with these people?. Is it really all about the money? Does she really believe that Michael would have wanted this? Can she put her head on her pillow at night and sleep peacefully? I know that her heart was broken, as she buried her son but, what is she thinking? As for Prince, Paris and Blanket, god I hope that they are gonna be OK. From what I have seen at least from Prince and Paris, they seem very mature and very strong. I think that Micahel did a wonderful job being an only parent to them. I pray that they learned and saw enough from Michael to be able to handle all of the s*** that is gonna come their way when they get control of the estate. I know that they will set the record straight about Michael for all the world to see. I thik that I am done for now, and Sabine I cant wait for your update. Dawn

Hi guys, I am really am proofreading/editing!!!!

But you know, you have to step away from it, otherwise everything starts to look like mush!!!!

Ms. Thang: What child wants to accept or believe that neither parent really gives a you know what about them..?Girl..Those ARE my parents, and I somehow through the grace of God have the ability through it all, to see my parents for who THEY are, the GOOD and the BAD, but MJ didn’t have a choice.

Ms. Thang, I’ve found that people who have not grown up in abusive home have a hard time understanding or accepting that parents can be so mean to their children — they just don’t want to. It’s not just the child in the family, it’s society too, ’cause it’s horrifying! I think MIchael, had he had some therapy, might have been able to accept his mother’s good and bad points. I think he saw her as an enabler, but figured — like I say in the chapter — that she was just as abused as he was and didn’t have a choice; since he felt he didn’t have a choice, he felt she didn’t have one either. But we always have a choice!!!!! It’s just that sometimes we can’t see the choices.

Michael was ALWAYS looking for some woman to mother him. I believe that’s why he got involved with June Chandler. I know that’s why he loved Elizabeth and Diana and even Shirley Temple. Michael was looking for both a mother/lover in one, which is a role that’s hard to play!

Ms. Thang: We can’t pick our families sadly, but we CAN pick those who mean something great to us, and he chose THEM..YES, he loved his mother, but I’m sure he questioned her love for him deep down sometimes and that added to MJ’s anguish and emotional suffering…

Yep, absolutely. But I bet you know what I’m gonna say!!!!!! When you’re like Michael, and come from a home like that, you have a bad picker! You try and choose a person to love you and mother you, reparent you, but you end up picking people who have similiar qualities to the ones that abused you in the first place.

That’s why Michael picked June Chandler, picked Schmuley, Bashir, the Arvisos and all those people who continued to do to him what Motown and his family did to him: Used him.

They were attracted to him, too, like blood in the water, just his kindness and sensitivity and eager to do good — those qualities ALWAYS attracts abusive/users. So it’s a bad recipe and so devastating for the child who grew up in that kind of environment, having to reexperience the abuse as an adult.

The thing is, that’s God’s way of having us learn from it. You’re supposed to learn how to create good boundaries, how to step away; how to not let it change you. Michael did a great job in some ways! He never stopped being who he was inside, never!

    Hi Dawn!!!!!

Girl, I don’t think there’s a story about the Jackson’s you can tell me that I haven’t heard. I’m sure the whole story and the real truth probably reads like a nightmare. The Debarge, the one that was married to Janet– I forget his name, he called the Hayvenhurst the house of horrors, so you know. . . .

Randy spent a month in a psychiatric hospital!!!! This was in lieu of him going to jail for beating Eliza’s ass, the woman he was with before Alejandra — Katherine went to court and begged them not to lock her son up in jail and they put him in a psychiatric facility for a month.

In my opinion, every single one of the Jacksons have HUGE issues, whether they’ll admit it or not; whether they show it to the world or not.

Alejandra wasn’t married to Randy, she was just shacking up with the Jacksons at Hayvenhurst, after already having two of Randy’s kids. She was sleeping with him while he was still sleeping with Eliza, and then up and married Jermaine — maybe to “fix” him. Who knows.

I bet those boys shared girls on the road while touring all the time. It would have meant nothing to them. But to marry and have kids with the same woman your brother has, damn! That is low!!!!! And shows none of them are thinking, especially not about the kids!!!!

Michael I think, thank God, just never had that spirit, to lie, use and abuse and God bless him, he escaped the family curse, but it made it very hard to relate to them, I’m sure.

As far as them billing themselves as a normal family, I mean, what are they going to say? If they KNEW how sick they were they’d stop lying about it and get help!!!!!

Is it really about money? I mean the money is used to make them feel good, whole, complete, because they don’t really have love of self and for others that makes life worthwhile. So no, I don’t believe it’s about the money.

I think Katherine feels empowered now, after being under Joseph’s thumb for all these years but she’s still easily manipulated and influenced by abusive men, like she was with Joseph and THAT’S WHY you see her with the likes of Howard Mann.

I think since Michael had the good sense to keep his kids away from his family as young children, they’ve grown up enough away from the dysfunction that they can see it for what it is, maybe Prince and Paris, but Blanket is sooooo young, and they WILL be affected, make no mistake, because you just can’t live in that type of sick environment and not be affected.

On a side note, I went to a forum once dedicated to Michael, and one of the rules was that you could not talk “bad” about any of the Jackson family, and I thought to myself, before clicking EXIT, WTF!

:w00t: What a stupid, ridiculous rule, which is just a perpetuation of that dysfunctional, “we must look good”, rule that Jackson family followed.

All of this nonsense is going on, and a person develops a rule that no one can talk about it? WTF!!!!!! That’s dysfunctional!!!!

Nothing changes unless we first acknowledge it! Someone mentioned to me that people didn’t want to disrespect the family, because they felt since Michael obviously forgave Joseph and Latoya, it was rude to bring it up again.

I responded it’s Latoya and Joseph and the rest of the family who continue to disrespect Micheal’s memory by denying the abuse he suffered and calling it “discipline” — not us, those who say, no, it happened!!!!

I do think Michael’s children will tell the real truth about Michael one day. They were lucky to have him for the time that they did. It was a very special gift from the universe!!!!

  28. Rikki says:

Damn way to leave someone confused and anixous. I’m completely shocked. I sure as hell didn’t see this coming. That’s something I really enjoy about your story stuff just comes flying trough the window and you have no time to duck or dodge it. It does leave you really anxious though. I’m like wait what happened? It was like a 180 then a 360 then another 180. So when did she have a meeting with Frank was that on another chapter cause I don’t remember or is it gone be explained in the next upcoming chapter? And mane I can’t believe she said that to Mike not that is wrong or anything they really haven’t talked about that. She has the right to know but it was out of the blue even I was shocked. Anyway love what’s to come can’t wait but I will cause I know it will be worth it.

  29. SuperSabine says:

Rikki, Sabah had a meeting with Frank in the last chapter, I think.

Maybe you skipped that part  :cheerful:

Don’t worry, all your answers will be forth coming VERRRRRRY SOOOON!!!!

  32. Jenny says:

    Hi Sabine,

I just received your email but for some reason have access denied.

I thought I would also share a poem I just wrote (inspired by one of my favourite poets Carol Ann Duffy who writes beautiful love poems and, of course, Michael ~ my favourite poet of all   ):

    his name…

    his name
    became
    a magical spell

    each letter
    a diamond charm

    look up
    you can see them
    twinkling in the dark

    each consonant
    each vowel
    burns hot
    like a kiss

    a vow

    four syllables
    resonant and loud
    magical and proud

    his name shines
in the darkness of the room

    see it there!

    say it and pray it
til it creates neon lights above

    and now
    a diamond clasp
    of hope and love

    brings light
    and wonderment
    whenever it gets dark

    his name
    became
    a magical spell

  33. SuperSabine says:

    Oooo, Jenny!!!! That’s beautiful!!!!

Remember to log in on the home page and THEN go to the chapter, because if you don’t, and go directly to the chapter, then the computer *remembers* that you don’t have access and it takes a while for it to figure out that you really do once you log in.

But I see you got in all right! Thanks for sharing that fabulous poem!

  34. MJWASACUTIEPIE says:

*Gulps* Oh God! The grease is really going to hit the fan now! You are going for the juggler now!! Wow, this is going to be very good!! It just means that they are really ready to deal with some issues, just like any couple.

It sure is very brave of Sabah to bring up the plastic surgery issue and I am curious as to how Michael will react to it. I am sure that if anyone close to him brought it up they were shut out so the next update should be really interesting.

  39. SuperSabine says:

:w00t: Lisa, the update is UP! So you don’t have much of a wait!!!!

  40. Sissy says:

Hey, Sab! Girl, I just saw you wrote a new chapter!!!! OMG I can’t wait to read it! But before I read it, I still have to read this chapter! Things have been very very extraordinary sressy the last weeks, which was all in all kinda unexpected! Remember when I told you, I’m so happy to finally be able to read this chapter?! Someone cheered too soon I guess! :-( Right a day after that things turned out to become extremely busy here! And yet things are still bustling…. But I’m so happy to see a new chapter! Besides this: you know I always read a chapter, when I know, there is still one more chapter left, to read, so I won’t have to wait that long (I once told you, remember?!)….
Because I take my time for reading (as I told you before), and after I need time to literally walk into the story and think about it for days…as you know I even re-read things/chapters…. and it takes time to be ready for a new story. But ironically I can’t wait to read a new chapter….funny, isn’t it?! As if I like to torture myself to make it even more delcious! :-)

But I hate it, when I can’t find to read, because of a lot of work! That’s really hte biggest torture!

God bless you, Sab! And please keep your fingers crossed, that I’ll be able to relax next week!
    Hugs

  41. planetjackson says:

Sabah better come clean and quick! I like the glimpse into his insecurity. He was, after all, only human like the rest of us.

It’s good to be back Sabine! (Now I want it all…and you know what I mean!)

  42. SenoraSabine says:

Lucky for you you don’t even have to wait to find out!!!

“When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a . . man.”
