She mixes a big batch of it every morning and though we’ve never asked for a specific list of ingredients, she says that it’s all natural and we trust her!!!

THE GOLDEN BOY: (Inspired by Enola) From the moment this Martini came into existence we knew it was special. Inexplicably sliding down your throat like icy cold molten lava, we struggled to formulate an adequate description. Fearing, because the drink was so powerful, that we would face multiple law suits if we put this volatile concoction on our menu we decided in the end it would only be safe to offer ONE drink PER PERSON per LIFE TIME. Ladies, ladies, before you protest, please try and understand: The Martini . . . shakes/stirs itself! (Cue dramatic music) ( O-O )
The Thriller
THE THRILLER — (Inspired by MJQuan) It sizzles, it pops, it dances in your mouth and then it gets down in you and makes you wanna dance, too. One sip, and your hand is up in the air, you’re pursing your lips and saying, “Oooooo”!!! This is our most popular non-alcoholic drink. You can take it all day and never get tired. Enjoy!

On a positive note there was a graduating award ceremony for the graduates at my son’s school:

I agree as well. The ending was a bit like “huh???” but the whole rest of the movie totally made up for it. It’s one of the few films that I can rewind and watch it all over again. It’s funny that you mention the ending cause I was telling my best friend today how I was watching it and she was all “Yeah, that movie is kick ass except for the ending” and I was all “Yeah, that’s true. But I still love Steven Spielberg.” And she goes “Oh, that bits not Steven’s fault, that’s just story.” (She wants to be a writer and she went to school for screenwriting, she’s amazing). And it got be thinking, Steven Spielberg is a smart guy. He knows his limits. Like if someone presents him with a story idea he’ll be like “Well, I can’t write it but I’ll film it for you.” You know??? He’s such a freaking genius I worship the ground he walks on. You know, I’ve never read any articles about Steven talking about Michael considering that they worked together and everything. Steven seems like the type of guy that would have Michael’s back through thick and thin. I’d like to think that was the case in real life.

P.S. MartiniGirl… LOVE your tattoo!!! I plan on getting a Michael tattoo as well. It’s gonna be the silhouette of him up on his toes and I want the artist to tattoo in the white glove and the fedora. And then just around the image I want just swirls of color with music notes all around him. I can see it in my head I just hope someone can draw it out for me. YAY!!!

You know, I’m not feeling sad with the anniversary of MJ’s passing — just reflective. Death is a natural part of life — it’s part of the journey. Michael was a phenomenal human being and now he’s a blessed spiritual being. Wherever he is, he is happy, whole and still very much a part of everyone’s lives just in a different way.
This week, I’m just enjoying all the good stuff he left us with and being so thankful I live in a time of Youtube, videos, gifs, cable t.v. shows that air specials, and just having access to so much information and pictures–it’s truly a blessing!

I agree about the City — I mean I didn’t see much of it; I just stayed in that central area, but it seemed to me that they had a lost population there — the homeless. I was told, if you think it’s bad here, so . . . .
You know like when you lift up a rock and see the ants and bugs crawling underneath — that’s what it felt like to me. That part of the city had been turned over a little. And what was being done about it?
It hurt my heart. My daughter said, I can’t see this; I need to — want to be in denial.

I live in Lancaster…only 1 hour west of Philadelphia but light years away at the same time. You probably thought i lived there because i’ve been to Great Adventure and the Jersey shore! :lol: on the homeless, It is hard for kids to see that kind of social injustice but you know, i grew up in the country sheltered from a lot of “reality” and i don’t think it was better than being exposed to it. the lesson i try to give them is that even homeless people are just that..PEOPLE..HUMANS …we are all the same, all God’s children and like the song goes “there but for fortune go you and i”

thanks for posting the “good times” video…I think it’s important that we stick together and stay focused on the beauty and love of Michael at this time. there is so much garbage and drama still surrounding him flying around out there and people using his name and his story for money or ratings…it’s just disgusting . I completely ignore all of it…maybe that’s me in denial but i just don’t want to relive it. I was smiling today because my local radio station does a “retro hour” every day and they announced that Friday is going to be an all MJ hour. :happy:

You know, I always try to use opportunities to talk to my kids about real life situations — what I told my daughter was that, yeah, people don’t like to see that, homeless people, ’cause it’s disturbing; that’s why in NY we stick them in a shelter and get them off the streets. Makes you wonder, though, what went wrong in their life — these people have children, mothers, brothers sisters, yet they’re sleeping on the street!!!! :cwy:

I hope you all are doing great. Today was an okay day for me. I must admit that hearing michaels music on the radio 24/7 lifted my spirit greatly.
I hope you guys had an easy day and have your closure time with michael.

Were there a lot of people there? I heard FL wasn’t letting the fans come — it must have been yesterday, so that the family could be there. Sure post away :tongue: — personally, I don’t do cemeteries. IMO, Michael is no longer in that body. His spirit is free :wub:
But I do understand it provides a great sense of closure for people. In NY, wow, everyone was playing MJ. They blasted Rock With You in Times Square and the city was just alive with his spirit!!!
I just watched the footage Mgirl put up awwwwweeeeee, Michael is so adorable! But I say that to everything!

It was nice hearing Michael on the radio and TV all day wasn’t it? Even here, Michael’s spirit was in the air and the radio stations kept talking about him and playing tributes. OMG, i had to laugh at my oldest son yesterday we were watching videos and they played “Rock With You” and he goes ” What is he wearing?!?! I wouldn’t wear that outfit in a closet!” *shaking my head* some people just will never get Michael . :lol:

I’m just gonna copy and paste what i wrote on these MJ forums im a memeber of hahah..

I went people were celebrating Michael¡¦s life. The radio stations played MJ music for the whole day. ƒº
I went to forest lawn yesterday and I want to share my experience with you guys.
First of all, I want to thank Randy Jackson for believing in the fans and KNOWING that we would be on our best behavior on this big day.
My friend and I, Sonia, arrived at forest lawn of Glendale at about 9:30 am. At that time, I believe there were only about 100 fans. Little by little the crowd got bigger and I heard about 10,000 fans showed up. The guards/employees of forest lawn were so friendly and respectful. They had blocked off certain roads with orange cones for easier access to the Holy Terrace. They allowed us to drive up to near the Holly Terrace and we walked the rest of the way. I am glad Michael is buried at the Glendale location of forest lawn. It is such a peaceful and beautiful cemetery. I was amazed. The scenery is so beautiful; you guys can see it in the pictures below. We all know how much Michael loved the nature, trees and flowers, and the cemetery is just that. The fans kept coming and going. I did not see anyone crying hysterically, although some ladies did cry silently to themselves. We weren¡¦t allowed to go inside the Holly Terrace b/c they had fenced the area near it. So we walked behind the fences and gave our flowers/gifts to the workers of forest lawn and they placed them for us near the Holly Terrace. The flower shop of Forest Lawn had brought up a bunch of sunflowers and red roses. I bought a red rose in honor of myself, Tracy, and everyone else. But most fans delivered sun flowers and I thought that was so cute b/c Michael loved sunflowers and everyone remembered that. CUTE!!
It was such a great experience. I saw people from ALL over the world. I saw every single race. Only Michael can bring the whole world together like this. Fans were wearing MJ t-shirts, shoes, fedoras, gloves and anything else you can imagine that symbolizes MJ. I even saw and took pictures of people¡¦s tattoos. I saw a group of Asians, I think they were Japanese but I¡¦m not sure. There were about 10 of them and they all had MJ costumes on and walked as a group. It was so cute. I fans from 2 years old to 80 years old. oooh and the cutest part was when this MJ impersonator named Carlo Riley showed up with a full MJ outfit from THIS IS IT. Everyone went nuts and took pics with him haha. I took 2 pics with him. you’ll see it below. Only Michael can do bring the whole world together.
I did NOT see any of the Jackson family members, although I was hoping I would haha. I really wanted to see Janet and Randy. They are so cute. Anyways, last night on the news I saw that Jermaine, Tito, Janet, and a few of the other members left the holly terrace. Tito is so nice; he leaned over the fence and gave this lady a hug. It was so sweet. I know about 200 white doves were released on honor of Michael. The person in charge of that was standing outside of forest lawn, by the gates. Again, I did not see the doves being released. ƒ¼ but I saw videos of it and omg, they were sooo beautiful.
Later at night, when I got off work, I drove by the family home in Encino and saw that about 150 fans gathered outside the gate for a candle light vigil. It was so cute. ļ
