HOLOMA’S SOUP: This deceptively potent drink has babies popping up all over the place and since Michael loves da kids, we just can’t take it off the menu. It’s spicy and fruity and served with a strangely cool mist circling up top. Don’t mind the woman in the back hovering over the cauldron. She mixes a big batch of it every morning and though we’ve never asked for a specific list of ingredients, she says that it’s all natural and we trust her!!!

CREAMY MIKE: (Inspired by Annie) Pure milk chocolate, lightened to perfection with thick, heavy cream and a blend of exotic liqueurs, the taste of this drink will linger in your mouth for hours. You’ll find yourself constantly licking your lips and thinking about it even after you’ve cleaned the last drop out of the glass with your finger. So delicious we naturally prepare two when it’s ordered because everyone gulps them down so quickly. BE WARNED: This drink WILL give you a particularly wicked alcoholic sugar rush. A number of women find it very difficult to keep their legs closed even after one small sip.
The Foreplay
THE FOREPLAY: (Inspired by Martinigirl) Trust me. Looks CAN be deceiving. This seemingly happy go lucky drink will put you flat on your back and keep you there. No matter what you’ve heard YOU ARE NOT READY for this drink. The tangy taste of pineapples smothered in Amaretto and Southern Comfort will knock you right off your feet – literally. Once on your back, you WILL stay there for days . . . and nights. I took this off the menu because I lost a couplah return customers. It’s served with a life size cut out of the Michael pic above. A bunch of people ordered, left and were never seen again.

THE GOLDEN BOY: (Inspired by Enola) From the moment this Martini came into existence we knew it was special. Inexplicably sliding down your throat like icy cold molten lava, we struggled to formulate an adequate description. Fearing, because the drink was so powerful, that we would face multiple law suits if we put this volatile concoction on our menu we decided in the end it would only be safe to offer ONE drink PER PERSON per LIFE TIME. Ladies, ladies, before you protest, please try and understand: The Martini . . . shakes/stirs itself! (Cue dramatic music) ( O-O )
The Thriller
THE THRILLER — (Inspired by MJQuan) It sizzles, it pops, it dances in your mouth and then it gets down in you and makes you wanna dance, too. One sip, and your hand is up in the air, you’re pursing your lips and saying, “Oooooo”!!! This is our most popular non-alcoholic drink. You can take it all day and never get tired. Enjoy!

Met up with MartiniGirl girl today!!! Her and her husband are SO LOVELY!!! They are so easy to talk to and so much fun. I’m so glad I was able to meet up with them. We had a blast today!!! We went to the Grammy Museum and saw the Michael exhibit but no photos allowed, BOO!!! But we did get other photos of other things which I will post in my blog when I get home.
Tomorrow is Forest Lawn. *sigh* It will be hard but a must do. I have to get my words to Mike. I’ll be thinking of you girls while we’re there!!! Love you all!!!

Morning girls. There was a devastating fire on my block this morning. Through the cloud of smoke I watched them pull out a man’s burning body.
It was so awful!!! :sad: :cwy: The house did not completely burn down to the ground, it was an attached structure, but it is gutted — empty inside. I saw three people come out don’t know if anyone actually died. I need something to settle my nerves. So I’m having a MJ laced with Pure.
:heart: I’m so thankful to be alive, healthy and whole right now. I pray for that man who was so injured. Just a small burn hurts so much. I can’t imagine.

Thanks Enola. It was just a chilling thing to see and Im just the kind of person who start to think of all the things I should be thankful for and what if that were me.
There was a family who was able to get out but they walked away with nothing but the clothes on their back and I just was hit with the thought that in this life nothing else matters — the material things we value so much — just life.
Watching the Firefighters working so hard to save a life it made me feel good too about human kind. We can be so cruel to each other but we do really care on a basic level. It just made me reflective and thankful I guess.
I know exactly what you mean. Accidents and tragedies always make me think too. Somehow it puts things into the right perspective.
I have a co-worker, whose son has just been badly wounded in Afghanistan. It’s a miracle he makes it out of there alive. He might end up with knee problems for the rest of his life, but seriously that’s nothing compared to losing your life and not seeing your kids grow up.
Firefighters are real heroes if you ask me!
I totally admire their courage and commitment to save lives.
That’s what I was thinking as I watched them. What a job, huh? No wonder we find them so sexy.

So sad about your co-workers son. It’s hard to tell a person that well you made it out alive because they’re in pain and of course that pain is real and can’t be minimized but in the end, that is what we’re all trying to hold onto this life.
I couldnt help thinking though — wondering if the man that came out of that fire ON FIRE :cwy:
If he didn’t wish at that moment he was dead?
I wondered what life lessons he needed to learn that created this situation for him?

It must have been a really nasty fire, since 4 firefighters were injured as well.
But it seems as if no one has suffered life threatening injuries – so the man is going to make it I guess.
I hope he gets all the medical attention he needs.

Yeah I live across the street and was able to watch it all from my balcony. But my house is newly built so it doesn’t look like the other brown stones which I love, they have tall ceilings and the old architecture, curved stair cases — which was one of th problems. Once the staircase burned down, there was no way out of the house.
They rent these apartments out but brownstones were really meant for one family.
As far as injuries, it’s reported nine people were injured. One seriously, I guess the man that who came out in flames. I wouldn’t want anyone to think I live in a warzone, because I don’t but it’s true last week I came home and couldn’t get into my drive way because a man had been shot in the neck in front of one of the brownstones. This week that blaze was set.
The occupants said they heard an explosion. They think it’s arson. They think someone is after that man and wants him dead!!!!
