It’s spicy and fruity and served with a strangely cool mist circling up top. Don’t mind the woman in the back hovering over the cauldron. She mixes a big batch of it every morning and though we’ve never asked for a specific list of ingredients, she says that it’s all natural and we trust her!!!

CREAMY MIKE: (Inspired by Annie) Pure milk chocolate, lightened to perfection with thick, heavy cream and a blend of exotic liqueurs, the taste of this drink will linger in your mouth for hours. So delicious we naturally prepare two when it’s ordered because everyone gulps them down so quickly. BE WARNED: This drink WILL give you a particularly wicked alcoholic sugar rush. THE GOLDEN BOY: (Inspired by Enola) From the moment this Martini came into existence we knew it was special. Inexplicably sliding down your throat like icy cold molten lava, we struggled to formulate an adequate description. Fearing, because the drink was so powerful, that we would face multiple law suits if we put this volatile concoction on our menu we decided in the end it would only be safe to offer ONE drink PER PERSON per LIFE TIME. Ladies, ladies, before you protest, please try and understand: The Martini . . . shakes/stirs itself! (Cue dramatic music) ( O-O )
The Thriller
THE THRILLER — (Inspired by MJQuan) It sizzles, it pops, it dances in your mouth and then it gets down in you and makes you wanna dance, too. One sip, and your hand is up in the air, you’re pursing your lips and saying, “Oooooo”!!! This is our most popular non-alcoholic drink. You can take it all day and never get tired. Enjoy!

I think know the picture you mean, Gemmm! Wasn’t Michael so masculine with his fro — something about it. Later on he look more pretty and still manly but less masculine than he did with his fro. I know people go gaga for Bad Era Michael, but I love me some Michael period, no matter what era!!! And if I had to choose, I’d take him as God made him! My favorite picture from the side bar THIS WEEK is the one in the pink shirt with the fro. I don’t care about no pimples, that’s why they have acne medicine. Michael is adorable!!!! I’m excited about Hold My Hand too.. that song is so great – I am sure it will hit # 1.
I heard a 42 second snippet of it that was supposed to be the newer version / it was a bit distorted so it was hard to hear if it was really different – I think I read that the strings and opening is much more orchestrated – although from the bit I heard it sounded overly mixed – with ad-libs I was not expecting…
so I am just gonna wait until midnight and go and listen! : )

As for Hold My Hand, never was one of my favorites — it’s okay I guess, still nothing to make me run out and get the album.
All in all, my opinion of “Michael” hasn’t changed but miracles can happen. :lol: I’m still going to just buy and download the tracks I like. If I do get it, it’ll be because someone bought it for me as a gift.
here’s what Taj says about Hold My Hand though:
“HOLD MY HAND” was the last song my uncle Michael every played to me in person. He was SO PROUD OF IT. I’ll never forget that smile he had on his face as the song played through the speakers (in his room) at the Palms Hotel in Vegas. After the song was over, he asked me what I honestly thought of it. I told him it was a worldwide number one song and that it was going to be a huge. He was so happy to hear that.
I did give the song one slight criticism though. I told my uncle that he needed to be singing more in the chorus and at the end of the song… lol. I said that we (the fans) would want to hear his voice more. :-)

I’m definitely excited to buy it as soon as it becomes available knowing that the moment I play it, I will instantly remember the day my uncle first played it to me. when I use to listen to Hold My Hand – I would cry coz I missed Michael so much..
last night I stayed up and listened – like all the other crazies that should of been in bed..

Hold my Hand….wow, the first note played and I cried. I had a weird dream last night about somebody dying and knowing he would and having to wait with him until it happenend. Was it about Michael? I don’t know, I can’t remember allt he faces…but I miss him. :sad: Now hearing his voice so clear and beautiful – that is definitley his voice! I love the gospel choir magnitude at the end. I don’t like Akon’s voice so much but it’s a nice song and if he was so proud of it like Taj said I like it even more. I also like the single cover. And the whisper at the end… :cwy: :cwy: :cwy:

Speaking of which, I am going to the doctor’s tomorrow to get this problem taken care of. Or, at least START to get it taken care of. I just hope it’s nothing too serious. I was wondering if you all could keep me in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow that everything goes well and the doctor will be able to tell me right away what the problem is and that I won’t have to do a bunch of tests. I’m sick of tests and sick of doctor’s and sick of going to clinics all the time.
So if you could all think of me tomorrow around 11:00 a.m. PST that would be so wonderful and I would appreciate it more than you know. Thanks, ladies!!!

That’s a weird dream for sure, Cherry, but only you know what it means. Isn’t MIchael’s voice so clear on Hold My Hand! Love it. Maybe this is a lesson to them not to mess w/ his voice. It doesn’t need ANY processing.
The Way That You Love Me is such an adorable song. I remember Yukongirl was asking about it, hopefully they’ll make that one better too. I’ts really nice as it is, so I can’t see what more than can do to it. Whatever they do I hope it enhances the song and doesn’t take away from Michael’s vocals.

I do know when I get ‘sick’ aka ‘get a cold’ it’s my bodies way of telling me I have waaaaaay too much mucus (not to gross anyone out) and it has to expel it. And once I do that, I’m fine.
I’m a little ‘sick’ right now though cuz I’m watching the Redskins play horribly.
But Anyhoo…

Hey Ladake, you know i hardly have any bodilly mucus because I cut out the things in my diet that produce them, and when I eat them, I always know becuase I feel congested, but you’re right — it’s so much having to do with what we eat and how we eat it. But I believe in the mind and body connection, too, sometimes when we’re sick it’s our subconscious saying to us some thing in our lives is wrong and we need to fix it. I need to know these things ’cause I can’t afford to get sick! I have no insurance :w00t:

Sabine, thank you so much for those encouraging words. They mean more to me than you know. I’ve been hiding out a lot because I have just been SO miserable. There is no exaggeration when I say that these last 3 months have been the hardest months of my life and I am so ready to get my life back on track. I want to go back to yoga class. I’m craving the feeling that it gives me that I haven’t felt in ages but I can’t go cause I’ve been SO SICK. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to come here and be a Debbie Downer but sometimes it feels good to let it all out, you know??? I just want to feel good again.
Sometimes it’s our bodies are saying…. REST.
And I don’t eat dairy either. (Only Soy, RIce and Almond Milk and I looooooooove Veganaise and Earth Balance) for non-dairy mayonnaise and butter. I can control these things at home, though it’s harder when I travel. Also, I realize wheat gluten makes my body produce excess mucus, so I try to stay away from that too
Speaking of food. I’m very excited about Thanksgiving!!!! I get to cook all the vegan dishes I’ve been eyeing for awhile.

Oh, sweetie you can say whatever you want to say, no one is expected to be in a good mood all the time, and how can you when your body is not feeling well.
My daughter is taking yoga and she really loves it. I truly believe that all things have an effect on our body, our environment, who we are around, our mental state,our self talk. Can you try saying to yourself, I FEEL good again instead of I want to feel good again. It’s a mind game, I know. Even I can’t do it sometimes, when you’re physically uncomfortable that’s all that matters. If you can, it might work wonders. Take good care of you (((((((frodes)))))))))))))
At the very least I can offer a little escapism to make you feel better. It’s almost done :heart:
Ladake, it’s always my body saying rest! Ugh! I tend to feel like a bum if I’m not DOING something so my body has to force me to relax by making me sick — you’d think I’d learn by now.
I can eat cheese and not get mucous, but I don’t drink milk or eat eggs, very rarely and if I do, I know, cause I get congested. As for wheat gluten, ugh, it’s the devil, in EVERYTHING.
I’ve started to try to avoid it again, but it’s almost impossible, I’m starting to feel :lol: You must be super woman!!! :tongue:
