The New & Improved CCC – a note frm Sabine
“Welcome to the new and improved CCC. While on the surface it seems that not much has changed, there has been some very important modifications.

“I would like to start off by saying, I am an artist. That’s part of who I am, not all of who I am but a part. Writing is just one of my artistic expressions. It is not a hobby or just something I do to past the time. It’s is something I HAVE to do. It is very BIG, personal, expression of a part of me.

“My sole and only desire in writing both Tame the Wild Cobra and first Cowboy Mike and then Bad Boy Mike was to explore and illustrate, not only the issues that Michael struggled with in his life time, but the ways in which he might have what I wished he had: True love, not by avoiding or ignoring the circumstances and problems presented to him in his life, but by, through small decisions and different choices, facing them head on. I desired to help people understand Michael, as I saw him.
“I invited readers who loved Michael and also wanted that for him to join me on this journey and escape with me into this world that I had created. If I can be credited for anything, it’s making the story so exciting and so much fun. CCC became a great place to hang out and chat and talk about the stories. But I started to notice that certain members of CCC were trying, in small and different ways, to impose their views and ideas about who they thought Michael was, how this world should look, how the love interest of Michael should act and basically how MY story should be written — how CCC should be.
“The music is a personal expression, like art. It is something that you like doing that comes from within, and is an expression that comes from God. That is why artists are beautiful and why people who copy are not really artistic.”
After months of watching this behavior escalate, after seeing a clique being formed on CCC and after having my restated purpose and intention ignored, I opted to end those memberships and then – then things got ugly. One person refused to go. I spent hours watching them attempt to log in over and over. When they succeeded, they put up a taunting email to let me know that they’d made it into CCC despite my blocking them. They sent emails to myself and other members claiming that people were stalking them on CCC and then the people became one “man”. The story became more and more unbelievable and outrageous. I reached out to other active members for support, not for them to actually do anything, but just to be a witness to the craziness that was going on. Even though some had emailed me to talk about their personal problems, to ask for advice, even though they’d come to CCC for prayers and support when they were feeling down, I was actually even given the coined apathetic response in not so many words, “I don’t want to get involved. I just want to read the stories.” But of course, as you can imagine, I can’t write in such an environment.

So I’ve decided I will no longer share Bad Boy Mike, Cowboy Mike and Tame the Wild Cobra with the general public. I desire to share this story with people who appreciate my artistic expression, who respect all the hard work it takes to make a story like this work and to make CCC as beautiful as it is and who let me know that; people who desire FOR Michael a life that included his OWN lover, not themselves, but someone who matched him emotionally. People who won’t compete with a fictional love interest in a story; who won’t want to slit her throat and throw her under the bus just because Michael loves her. People who are not interested in just reading about Michael having sex. People who are really interested in reading a love story. People who are open enough to root for Michael to make it with someone he loves. Not someone perfect. Not some boring, inconceivable door mat whom Michael could do with as he wished but a strong, beautiful, interesting woman whom HE could love, and who, though not perfect, loved him back, faults and all. In Romeo and Juliet we are rooting for the couple to make it!!!! I’ve never heard of a person who wanted Romeo to realize that Juliet is too young and immature and decided, AFTER reading the story, to write a story starring Romeo and themselves. When a director remakes a movie he does so because he LOVVVVVED the first movie. It is an act of homage and respect. When a true writer writes a story, s/he does so because s/he is inspired to write the story, not because s/he wants to compete with another writer or another story.
I want to make it clear here, I’m not saying that every writer who is writing Michael Jackson fan fiction is competing with the other. There are some very talented writers who are expressing their gift, some who are going through the stages of grief, some who are just having fun. I am speaking SPECIFICALLY about the few members who I’ve encountered who were doing what I’ve described above, and I choose not to associate with that negative energy.
I achieved my goal in Cowboy Mike which is why the story became so popular and I have continued in that spirit with Bad Boy Mike. In a more loose and fantasy environment, this is what Tame the Wild Cobra story creates as well except, it’s just more fun. And so I’d like to take this moment to express my eternal thanks to the treasured souls who have made this year plus experience both rewarding and enjoyable, without their comments and feedback to give me continued inspiration, I would have most certainly closed down CobraCrackCentral for good. And wouldn’t that have been a shame, because . . . . the stories aren’t nearly finished. I’d like to finish them, and so I am creating the environment I need to make that possible.
If you have any thoughts, comments, please feel free to express them. I believe in honest, open communication as long as it’s respectful. I’m still working on the site and giving access to as many positive people as I can, but it’s going to take some time because I have over 1,000 members!!!! The easiest way to do it is to look through the comments. If you feel I’ve missed you leave a comment here.

Actually it doesn’t sound crazy. It sounds cute!!!! Um, where were they when we left them — oh Saniia and Michael are back at the castle so they are okay. And Michael and Sabah are at her Dad’s house. I used to think, when I was younger, that if I stopped reading a story the people would stay frozen in place until I got back to read the story, waiting for me to finish it. :lol: :cheerful:
LOL don’t forget that saniia and mike just got caught in the act! that was so hilarious. according to your last sentence they are still in that bed and Katherine is still shocked and joe is still sinister.

It’s a horrible truth. My mind IS always working, and when I wanted to do something but can’t, I can’t sleep. So it’s a viscous cycle. :lol:
I’m not satisfied with failure. If I can conceive it, I want to be able to do it or figure out a way. And then my OCD thing comes in!!!!
But it’s true, sometimes I must concede defeat, but I’m not ready to do that here yet :wink:

As cool as Facebook!!! Shamone now, that’s the best compliment. You know it’s very true what you said, we all make mistakes and we all do things that we regret or say things that we wish we hadn’t, myself included . I think what makes us human though is the ability to go back and reflect honestly on our behavior, not by lying or making excuses but just honestly being able to say, damn, I messed up; damn I misspoke, I shouldn’t have said that. That doesn’t always mean the person we were dealing with will want to have anything to do with us, but to me it always means that we have grown a little in the process.
The situation that lead to this change got so ugly to speak plainly because the people involved were lying.

Good morning addicts!!!!! The universe is all working towards my greater good, AND the greater good of CCC.
Last night I finally found a program that does EXACTLY what I need it to do. I uploaded it, and spent a few hours giving people access (you welcome :tongue:
Every morning, I read a daily affirmation.

Hi Sabine, i’m not commenting so you can give me access(do I want access HELL YAEH), but because I feel I need to.
Let me start off by trying to describe a small part of me:
I’m the type of person who hardly speak(in this case comment) unless I feel my voice (words) will not only add to the situation but make a difference as well. Some will describe me as antisocial, I guess it’s a bit true. I can be unsociable, when it comes to large groups my guard automatically goes up and I come across as withdrawn and unfriendly. This is exactly what I’ve done here at CobraCrackCentral. I felt I didn’t need to comment if it was already said because it’ll just be redundant. I found CCC when you had just posted “Bad Boy Mike” so I was hesitant to jump in and comment being fairly new. This lead me to not comment at all until now of course.
Jumping to why I decided to comment:
After reading this note I realized that I have taken you and CCC for granted. Surely I don’t know you but reading your stories, comments, and things you’ve chosen to post on here gives us all a glimpse of the true you. I use this site as my escapism, selfishly I have never took the time to thank you or comment on your amazing stories. Your words “…, without their comments and feedback to give me continued inspiration, I would have most certainly closed down CobraCrackCentral for good,” hit my core and I felt it was time for me to comment.
I want to tell you how amazing your stories are and how I laughed with, cried with, and even yelled at the characters (I was even yelling at Michael, I love how you didn’t make him a saint) but this will take up the whole page.
So with out taking up to much of your time ( i tend to go on and on when it’s somenting I feel strong about) i’ll get to my point. I’m sorry for it having to come to this for me to realize what I was doing. While reading this it has come to my understanding that I have underestimated the value of you. You are right, you are an artist, and CCC is an extension of you. By giving us CCC you have given a part of you and I’m so sorry I took that for granted. Now I want to tell you thank you. THANK YOU SHARING AN AMAZING PART OF YOU.

I read your reason why and I’m really sorry that happened to you. Some people are so stupid! They know the story is made up right?! LOl, but yeah your writing is awesome, and I totally did not know that every story on this site is yours.. I only read Cowboy Mike that’s probably why lol. Well first I came here to post about the new year! Cuz it’s 2011 and the year of rabbit and I’m extremely excited about it. (even though I should be asleep)
Then, I was going to post in the bar…. but slowly came to realize I can’t post anywhere but here, so I was gonna leave my HAPPY message of love in the new year here until the rest was fixed….

Also left you a message in the “forget the password” section, but I wanted to make sure I got through loud and clear… Sorry to hear about all the B.S people have been throwing at you. You are taking your time to entertain the hungry female (and maybe even male) masses and it amazes me that some people can’t appreciate that. I don’t think I have ever left a comment and that is very wrong. I have written fanfic myself and I know how much comments mean. They are your drive… So I have been a hypocrite in this situation and I appologize. I really love your story, and yours is one of the few I follow. Don’t follow a lot, cuz I’m a picky reader, but Cowboy Mike (and anything our mutual friend, Erika B. Michaels, writes) is a definite addiction. I have seen Michael being described in many different ways and I really like “your” Mike. I sure as hell would fall in love with him! :wub:
And with that, I certainly promise to leave feedback from now on and I recognize my mistake in not doing so before… So I hope I can get access again cuz I miss reading about the worlds sexiest cowboy. I like that the story is in the Bad era now, cuz Bad era Mike is YUM :w00t:
