The New & Improved CCC – a note frm Sabine
“Welcome to the new and improved CCC. While on the surface it seems that not much has changed, there has been some very important modifications.

“I would like to start off by saying, I am an artist. That’s part of who I am, not all of who I am but a part. Writing is just one of my artistic expressions. It is not a hobby or just something I do to past the time. It’s is something I HAVE to do. It is very BIG, personal, expression of a part of me.

“My sole and only desire in writing both Tame the Wild Cobra and first Cowboy Mike and then Bad Boy Mike was to explore and illustrate, not only the issues that Michael struggled with in his life time, but the ways in which he might have what I wished he had: True love, not by avoiding or ignoring the circumstances and problems presented to him in his life, but by, through small decisions and different choices, facing them head on. I desired to help people understand Michael, as I saw him.
“I invited readers who loved Michael and also wanted that for him to join me on this journey and escape with me into this world that I had created. If I can be credited for anything, it’s making the story so exciting and so much fun. CCC became a great place to hang out and chat and talk about the stories. But I started to notice that certain members of CCC were trying, in small and different ways, to impose their views and ideas about who they thought Michael was, how this world should look, how the love interest of Michael should act and basically how MY story should be written — how CCC should be.
“The music is a personal expression, like art. It is something that you like doing that comes from within, and is an expression that comes from God. That is why artists are beautiful and why people who copy are not really artistic.”
After months of watching this behavior escalate, after seeing a clique being formed on CCC and after having my restated purpose and intention ignored, I opted to end those memberships and then – then things got ugly. One person refused to go. I spent hours watching them attempt to log in over and over. When they succeeded, they put up a taunting email to let me know that they’d made it into CCC despite my blocking them. They sent emails to myself and other members claiming that people were stalking them on CCC and then the people became one “man”. The story became more and more unbelievable and outrageous. I reached out to other active members for support, not for them to actually do anything, but just to be a witness to the craziness that was going on. Even though some had emailed me to talk about their personal problems, to ask for advice, even though they’d come to CCC for prayers and support when they were feeling down, I was actually even given the coined apathetic response in not so many words, “I don’t want to get involved. I just want to read the stories.” But of course, as you can imagine, I can’t write in such an environment.

So I’ve decided I will no longer share Bad Boy Mike, Cowboy Mike and Tame the Wild Cobra with the general public. I desire to share this story with people who appreciate my artistic expression, who respect all the hard work it takes to make a story like this work and to make CCC as beautiful as it is and who let me know that; people who desire FOR Michael a life that included his OWN lover, not themselves, but someone who matched him emotionally. People who won’t compete with a fictional love interest in a story; who won’t want to slit her throat and throw her under the bus just because Michael loves her. People who are not interested in just reading about Michael having sex. People who are really interested in reading a love story. People who are open enough to root for Michael to make it with someone he loves. Not someone perfect. Not some boring, inconceivable door mat whom Michael could do with as he wished but a strong, beautiful, interesting woman whom HE could love, and who, though not perfect, loved him back, faults and all. In Romeo and Juliet we are rooting for the couple to make it!!!! I’ve never heard of a person who wanted Romeo to realize that Juliet is too young and immature and decided, AFTER reading the story, to write a story starring Romeo and themselves. When a director remakes a movie he does so because he LOVVVVVED the first movie. It is an act of homage and respect. When a true writer writes a story, s/he does so because s/he is inspired to write the story, not because s/he wants to compete with another writer or another story.
I want to make it clear here, I’m not saying that every writer who is writing Michael Jackson fan fiction is competing with the other. There are some very talented writers who are expressing their gift, some who are going through the stages of grief, some who are just having fun. I am speaking SPECIFICALLY about the few members who I’ve encountered who were doing what I’ve described above, and I choose not to associate with that negative energy.
I achieved my goal in Cowboy Mike which is why the story became so popular and I have continued in that spirit with Bad Boy Mike. In a more loose and fantasy environment, this is what Tame the Wild Cobra story creates as well except, it’s just more fun. And so I’d like to take this moment to express my eternal thanks to the treasured souls who have made this year plus experience both rewarding and enjoyable, without their comments and feedback to give me continued inspiration, I would have most certainly closed down CobraCrackCentral for good. And wouldn’t that have been a shame, because . . . . the stories aren’t nearly finished. I’d like to finish them, and so I am creating the environment I need to make that possible.
If you have any thoughts, comments, please feel free to express them. I believe in honest, open communication as long as it’s respectful. I’m still working on the site and giving access to as many positive people as I can, but it’s going to take some time because I have over 1,000 members!!!! The easiest way to do it is to look through the comments. If you feel I’ve missed you leave a comment here.

Hey, Sabine, I commented a while back, and I’d thought that you’d given me access. I know you said that I’d just need to comment a lot more and when I went back to reread cowboy mike I didn’t have access anymore.

dawgltxo is my user name (also email address.) The other account is under Kari (my middle name.) The latter one is the one I signed up with the first time; also commented with that one. I used to sign in under yahoo; but for whatever reason it quit working. So, I re-registered with google and just used my email as my username. Does that makes sense? We couldn’t figure it out, so you just advised me to set up another account. From now on, I’ll just sign in under dawgltxo because I don’t think signing in with yahoo will work. Thanks.

Some of you guys commenting and asking for access already have access, so here’s a tip.
Clear your cookies. If you log in as someone w/o access, the computer gives you a cookie that says you don’t have it. When you log in again, now you have two cookies, that’s confusing the computer. Clear it, your active log in’s and your cache and try again.
Also if you’re using Internet Explorer, I suggest trying out Firefox or Chrome, both free and much better browsers.
If after all is said and done, you find that you still don’t have access . . . reflect on past behavior :smile:

I really just read your reply and feel absolutely sorry for what you had to deal with and can understand why you had to regroup to handle your business. I really feel bad that happened because like you said you wanted to show that he was a human being capable of loving a very tenacious, beautiful and intelligent woman. I really liked reading the stories because of your style of writing. It is very impossible not to imagine while reading what is going on since you describe everything quite clearly and with so much description. The stories have a great balance of adventure,suspiscion, disappointment and love. The bottom line is, we need these stories published in books asap. Is that at all in the plan?

I finally got the access to the stories. OMG, I am really excited with the Bad Boy Mike Act 3. I scrolled to the bottom of the it and the pictures are really attracting me. I’m going to enjoy it so much as I’m sure the story would be even better :tongue: I forgot to say that you are really good with photoshop too. Thanks Sabine, for everything. I hope you got some good rest after working for so long hours :smile: I really appreciate it.

I had no idea of the things that you were dealing with. I have been a huge fan since this last summer. I discovered Cowboy Mike and Prince Micheal and could not stop reading. When I finally got caught up to you I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter. It is amazing to me that you can write such beautiful stories so realistically. Michael has always enchanted me and so do your stories, they are a great escape. Thank you for them.

I’m confused as to why it’s so difficult to have access to the stories? I know you said there was some drama at some point with some, but if they’re deleted or denied access, then shouldn’t we just be able to click on the story to read it ? I usually read from my Iphone, so clearing cache’s and going thru all that is more difficult for me to do. Is there a simplified way to do this? It’s also telling me I don’t have permission, but I don’t know what else to click to do so.

Eleni, I wish I could tell you why — I really don’t know, unless this program is not working as well as I thought it was. think it might have something to do with your cookies expiring. Someone said that what they do is go to a post that is not blocked, like this one, and then go back to BBM and that usually does the trick. I’ve also said try clearing your cache/cookies and active log ins. Every time I test it, it works perfectly for me.

I was redecorating so not on line for most of the day, looks like there were some problems with people who have access logging on and people who don’t wanting.
I would encourage everyone who doesn’t understand why they don’t have access to read this post!!!!!
I would also remind everyone that I am SHARING this story. If you’ve been reading for over a year and I have never heard from you, not even so much as a thank you for the story, but now you find that you don’t have access and urgently want it, welllllllll, I mean, I understand why you want to read it, I really do, but do you really believe that someone would continue sharing something with you and you’ve never even said thanks or I appreciate you, or I like what you’ve written?

Hi Sabine, I absolutely love your stories and have read Cowboy Mike three times and have just started Bad Boy Mike and love it so much. Your attention to detail is amazing and the personalities of Sabah and Kit that you have creating is amazing and keeps me wanting more. Reading about Mike in your stories brings him back in a sense and you portray him perfectly as how I see he would be and it warms my heart because I’m still really hurting over him and probably always will. He so deserved to be happy like in these stories. I have lost access to the stories and I think it’s because I’m one of the guilty ones that hasn’t posted and I’m sorry because you deserve a big THANK YOU! I start pouring my emotions into my posts, so I just read and read and never post and I’m sorry, I will make that change.

Just a tip for all who are trying to access. come to a non-restricted post, like this one after logging in, and then go to BBM 3, that seems to do that trick and let’s the computer recognize you. :heart:

I’m so sorry for all the drama you’ve had to go through with this whole situation. Sharing something special shouldn’t be tainted by people trying to force their opinions on you and compromise your integrity. And good on you for keeping that integrity. I’ve unfortunately been one of the shy ones about commenting :blush: , but you’re absolutely right, fair enough about getting some feedback. You definitely deserve it, your a fantastic writer and I just love Cowboy Mike and Bad boy Mike. You’ve really just breathed life into the characters, truly believeable stuff.
