After, if you are still walking, talking and coherent you might want to stop by our gift shop!!!!
N O W S E R V I N G :
Hey there handsome, excuse me for a minute I’ll be right with ya’
MENU LIST:
N E W ON THE M E N U!:

DDD, also served by the bottle

Dirty Dirty Dirty Diana
INTRODUCING The dirty, Dirty, DIRTY DIANA: Some of you addicts have been pretending. And it’s really not necessary. When you come into the bar, have a seat. Your drink has already been prepared. We’ll even serve you the bottle. After all, it’s got your name on it. :alien:
Warning: Do NOT Mix this drink with Bad Boy Shots. We’ve heard some stories, let me tell ya!

Bad Boy Shot
THE BAD BOY SHOT: Let’s face it, you’re not a good girl and you’ve never been one. You need something strong in ya and this big, black bottle IS IT. One shot is usually enough though we at CCC already know that’s not all you want. Pure Testosterone, raw masculinity infused with some BAD a$$ attitude – all you need to do is open up, throw this one back and wait for it.
:pouty:  Warning (Drink Responsibly)

MJ

- MJ, Too
MJ: We’ve taken this infusion of all natural MJ bodily extracts and perfectly blended it into this refreshingly, naturally sweet and tangy citrus beverage we all ooooooof course, MJ. And we swear, it taste just like JUICE! We can’t really explain what it will do to you — experience it for yourself. You’ll understand after your very first swallow.
A Wet Sabah: Creamy Sabah w/ just a hint of Michael in her.
In honor of our favorite couple’s special night we at CCC have created two special drinks:
CHASTITY and UNLEASHED

Ms. CHASTITY
MS. CHASTITY: Coy and uninhibited, sweet and sincere. Remember when you were without fear, honest and whole — do you want to feel like that little girl again; do you want to experience, if only for a moment, the blissfulness of youth? Enjoy, Saniia’s Ms. CHASTITY. Experience the quality that captured Michael’s heart. INNOCENCE IS INTOXICATING.
UNLEASHED: Years of discipline, control and abstinence can only result in one thing: UNLEASHED. We were there. We captured it. We bottled it. Taste the flavor of unbridled passion.

Liquid CobraCrack ™
LIQUID COBRACRACK™ There hasn’t been a chapter uploaded for days! Your internet connection is on the blitz and you can’t find your IPod. Your family and friends have completely disassociated themselves from you because you’ve become a walking zombie. Not one of them understands why you’ve been staring at the blank screen of your computer for days now. But if you don’t get some Michael in you and in you quick, you will just explode!
Due to the number of addicts jonesing outside of CCC we rolled up our sleeves and created this TEMPORARY infusion of Michael in the form of Liquid CobraCrack ™. Stock up now while supplies last. Keep some in the back of your fridge, in the garage, under your desk at work and in your nightstand. Never be without Michael again!!! But Be Warned: Liquid CobraCrack ™ is equally as addictive as the real thing and there is a high likelihood of developing a tolerance very quickly. You really just can’t replace the real thing!!!!

The cool, refreshing boyish joy of Michael in your glass.
MINTY MIKE: Inspired by Sonia: We were just goofing off, experimenting when we took Michael’s cool smile, his refreshingly sincere good nature, his boyish charm and added just a dash of delight and to our surprise, POOF!!! A Minty Mike appeared! One sip and we couldn’t stop laughing!!! Almost scientifically identical to the chemical compound of JOY, this drink will chase away any and all of your blues and put a peppermint — permanent smile on your face. Enjoy!

Creamy Sabah
CREAMY SABAH: Creamy Chocolate Mike w/ just a hint of Sabah. We searched high and low for a non-x-rated picture that we could put up and this is what we came up with — WHEWWWW!!!!

Pure
Prince Michael’s PURE – Cool, Sweet and light as mist, this magical drink refreshingly satisfies your craving for Prince Michael without the calories or the alcohol. Passion distilled to its purest form, PURE WILL cure your thirst . . . but alas not your desire. Feel free to drink it all day and all night but be warned, Prince Michael always leaves you wanting more.

 L.O.V.E.:When it comes to shots, we don’t offer anything that is more electrifying. We are serving the pure essence of Michael. It IS all that he had ever stood for and nothing more. People who met him basked in its warmth. It was in his words, his actions, his demeanor, his behavior and most of all, his smile. He simply exuded it from his pores. He gave and never asked for anything in return and now we offer the same to you.
If you’re feeling down and you need a pick me up; if you have been hit with a dose of negativity and need something to chase it away, we present to you something that will fill you with only the most natural of highs. It is ten times stronger than any of our other drinks and lasts twice as long: L.O.V.E. Have a shot today and experience the love of Michael Jackson. ***If you experience an immediate sense of peace, joy and contentment, don’t be alarmed that’s the magic of Michael in your system.

Chocolate Covered Mike
CHOCOLATE COVERED MIKE: For those of us with a sweet tooth introducing, Chocolate covered Mike. It’s decadently sweet, addictive, satisfying and unbelievably good for you. It’s just too perfect, OMG!!!!

SANGRE: Other establishments serve Sangria. We serve Sangre. Simply put, this sensually, seductive mixture of perfectly blended fruit, aged wine and just a tinsy weensy drop of Michael’s blood will invade your system and change your personality FOREVER. Undercover cameras captured the woman in the picture above seconds after she took one sip – we are not even sure she had a chance to swallow. Michael NEVER knew what hit him but I hear he was smiling for days afterward. Try it – if you’re woman enough.
THE FORCE: This drink is served with a resuscitation kit. I don’t’ think I need to say more!

The Prince Royale
THE PRINCE ROYALE: You’re a lady, and you know truthfully that is the only kind of woman who can capture Michael’s heart. You only drink to relax, not to get drunk like some of the lesser women who frequent Da Smooth Criminal. You’re not interested in cheap sex, you want a life time commitment from the object of your affection. Your drink will be served in our finest crystal, the ones etched in gold, on a silver platter in the VIP section of the bar. The smooth and fruity undertones of this vintage wine will peel away the layers of your resistance until you are as free from your inhibitions as any Creamy Mike lover. The only difference is you’ve done it with style. The price of this drink only reflects your superior self-worth. Go ahead splurge. You’re worth it! And Michael will definitely take notice. He enjoys the finer things in life and so do you.

Thug Passion
THUG PASSION: Okay it’s no Michael but you’re strapped for cash. The flavor doesn’t last as long but it’s just a ‘lil something to keep you going until you can get a REAL drink. A favorite of our financially challenged customers. What you see is what you get and damn, come on girls, you have to admit, it looks good as hell.
THE MABHA: A smooth and tangy combination of Sabah and Michael with a twist and zesty kick at the end. Don’t nurse it, ’cause it get’s flat. Drink it while it still has that sizzle!
THE GENTLEMAN WILL stay in you all night and will also be the first thing you feel when you wake up in the morning. Now let’s be clear: It’s not a hangover. It’s better than a hangover. It’s a HANG ON I’M CUMIN’.

Cool, milky, deceptively sweet.
THE MIKEGASM: Hands down, our most popular drink! Cool, Milky and deceptively sweet, you won’t see where the bang is coming from but IT WILL hit ya!!!!! What’s worst, you’ll keep ordering it anyway. We can’t explain why it explodes in your mouth, we just know we like it!!!! Make sure you have a designated driver if you start throwing back this one. We’re not going to take responsibility and you WON’T have just one.
MR. M: This is our signature beer. We brew it on the premises but if you’re watching yourself, you can get our light version instead.
MRS. M: The light version of our homemade brew, for our responsible drinkers who also want to make it home in one piece.

Holoma's Soup
HOLOMA’S SOUP: This deceptively potent drink has babies popping up all over the place and since Michael loves da kids, we just can’t take it off the menu. It’s spicy and fruity and served with a strangely cool mist circling up top. Don’t mind the woman in the back hovering over the cauldron. She mixes a big batch of it every morning and though we’ve never asked for a specific list of ingredients, she says that it’s all natural and we trust her!!!

Creamy Mike

Creamy Mike w/ Extra Creme
CREAMY MIKE: (Inspired by Annie) Pure milk chocolate, lightened to perfection with thick, heavy cream and a blend of exotic liqueurs, the taste of this drink will linger in your mouth for hours. You’ll find yourself constantly licking your lips and thinking about it even after you’ve cleaned the last drop out of the glass with your finger. So delicious we naturally prepare two when it’s ordered because everyone gulps them down so quickly. BE WARNED: This drink WILL give you a particularly wicked alcoholic sugar rush. A number of women find it very difficult to keep their legs closed even after one small sip.

The Foreplay
THE FOREPLAY: (Inspired by Martinigirl) Trust me. Looks CAN be deceiving. This seemingly happy go lucky drink will put you flat on your back and keep you there. No matter what you’ve heard YOU ARE NOT READY for this drink. The tangy taste of pineapples smothered in Amaretto and Southern Comfort will knock you right off your feet – literally. Once on your back, you WILL stay there for days . . . and nights. I took this off the menu because I lost a couplah return customers. It’s served with a life size cut out of the Michael pic above. A bunch of people ordered, left and were never seen again.

Golden Boy
THE GOLDEN BOY: (Inspired by Enola) From the moment this Martini came into existence we knew it was special. Inexplicably sliding down your throat like icy cold molten lava, we struggled to formulate an adequate description. Fearing, because the drink was so powerful, that we would face multiple law suits if we put this volatile concoction on our menu we decided in the end it would only be safe to offer ONE drink PER PERSON per LIFE TIME. Ladies, ladies, before you protest, please try and understand: The Martini . . . shakes/stirs itself! (Cue dramatic music) ( O-O )
THE THRILLER — (Inspired by MJQuan) It sizzles, it pops, it dances in your mouth and then it gets down in you and makes you wanna dance, too. One sip, and your hand is up in the air, you’re pursing your lips and saying, “Oooooo”!!! This is our most popular non-alcoholic drink. You can take it all day and never get tired. Enjoy!

"So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee." W. Shakespeare
 LOL! you’re right!
..hey, Sabine should put a Disney themed bedroom in the Recovery Room!….Michael would feel right at home!
 Morning Ladies
Looks like everyone has recovered from yesterday, GREAT!!
Who’s up for a Good Friday drink with me???? How about a Golden boy or a shot of L.O.V.E. anyone???
 EnolaLee…aaawww that was such a sweet thing that happened, to find something like of MJ’s again after so many years, very sentimental.
 Gracie that was a great idea, Disney themed room. I still have my Minnie Mouse I bought at Disneyland 24 years ago, and its very special to me one of the very last things I still have from my childhood. It reminds me of the the Michaelmania days.
*runs by the bar sees no sign of annie* (says to self) i guess its safe*walks in*…. hey girls….hows it going inda bar- in the bar……(laughs nervously)….i would like to just have a thriller…. i cant risk getting drunk because my true self cums-comes out. *drinks thriller rapidly* gotta go….*says to self* “ok MJ straighten up, youre losin it”
Hey Sonia,
A Golden Boy sounds just right.
My daughter just showed her “new” MJ bed linen to her father.
He went, “Ugh, you girls need to get a life.” But he couldn’t help smiling.
Now she is sitting in front of the TV watching the Disney Channel – with Michael wrapped around her.
(I’m a little jealous. I really loved that linen when I was a teenager.)
But hey, life is good. I’ve passed on my old Mike to the new generation.
ALRIGHT!!!
 Bottoms up then!! EnolaLee
 No need to be jeaolous, there’s alaways plenty of Michael to go around, but YES, with you when you say its a great satisfaction to know that you’ve passed MJ onto the next generation.
 Feel sad sometimes to know that my daughter won’t grow up in world with someone like Michael around. God just doesn’t make humans or artists like Michael anymore, he was so humble for the fame he had.
 Only true angels can be like, which Michael was.
Cheers, Sonia!
Yes, Michael was one of a kind. I wish my daughter could have had a better chance to get to know him too.
However, I think he has left a lasting mark on the world. I believe that people who understood what he was all about will continue to tell his story to their children, grandchildren etc. Don’t get me wrong, I have no intention to be blasphemous, but another great humanitarian is still talked about every day in churches all over the world. I’m not saying Michael was in the same league, but I think he had something important to say, something that will be remembered.
 CHEERS! EnolaLee and drinking to Michael, our angel
Well, Michael was in a league of his own who appealed to people of all different walks of life. He transcended race, religion, culture, etc. As I always say, Michael’s talent his music, singing, dancing was just a stepping stone for him to reach out to the world, but his mission was much larger than his career. As they say music is the universal language, as is the language of L.O.V.E., which was his message, but this world was too wicked for him.
However, the people who did GET his message will continue to pass it on, to OUR children.
*wiping a tear away, sighing*
Aaawww, that’s beautiful Sonia.
The message of L.O.V.E. is the only message worth talking about if you ask me. But then again, I’m a hopeless romantic.
Let’s have a shot of L.O.V.E. as well shall we?
 Welcome to the club of hopeless romantics, we’re on a MJ site of L.O.V.E
 ALRIGHTY THEN, ready to take a shot of L.O.V.E.
ON YOUR MARK…GET SET…..GO! ((((BOTTOMS UP)))
 Hey Sabine come and join us girl if you’re around!
Club of hopeless romantics…an MJ site of L.O.V.E.
Yeah that’s it!
I’m so happy I found the CCC.
I was worried I would never get to share my feelings for Michael with someone who would understand me.
AAWW! Girl!
You said IT! That’s why I’ve started loving this place so much…we can talk about FEELINGS! One thing I’ve also noticed, at times many of us seem to get off topic, but somehow they always end up coming back to Michael.
I think one thing I’ve learned in life and looking at Michael’s life as well is feelings should never be ignored and shared, its a natural human thing to do, and I think Michael really suffered because he couldn’t do that.
It’s taken me a while to be able to open up here, and I’m amazed just how many of the ladies here think like I do, and it makes me go where are all of YOU, in my day to day life!
:cwy: I was always the one that got bullied in school because I was “different”. I was even feeling uncomfortable at first commenting around here at first, but now I’m on…
 FIRE, LOL! and its so nice to see many of you share the same sentiments.
 LETS ALL HAVE ANOTHER SHOT OF L.O.V.E. (((I’ll bring Michael by later)))
Hey girls. I could feel the love all the way down the hall, from my writing room.
You know Elona, as I always say, I am very spiritual. People who are Christians, and I guess if I believe in religion (which I don’t) I’d call myself a Christian. Well, we are taught to be Christ like in our dealings with others. And Jesus when he washes his disciples feet tells us that “a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him” So to me, the whole purpose of being a Christian is to become like Christ. Michael understood this very well, I think.
I love in this video when he starts talking about it, you can tell it’s real to him that he’s just not talking. And this is in the midst of being persecuted. He’s shaking his head in belief because he cannot believe that this is happening to him. He’s smiling, but I can also clearly see that he’s trying not to cry. But even in the midst of this, he still he starts to talk about his spiritual beliefs, right there. I think it’s kinda beautiful:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZKnI-np2Dk&feature=related
Curiously enough, I find, Sonia, that ALL religious teachings point to the same thing — you know, all roads lead to Rome.
Astrology and the concept of reincarnation teaches us that we are striving to sublimate our “dark/shadow side” so that we can become whole. We, our souls, keep coming back (The Christian concept of being born again by the way) until we get it right.
I don’t think Michael will be back. You know, I was thinking about this a lot, guess I’m so philosophical because it’s Easter here in America, I think most “old souls” who are estranged from the “world” and how wicked it is, get very uncomfortable in their bodies and develop issues around it. I’ve always felt that Michael wasn’t really fully “here” with us, ya know.
Anyway I’m rambling. Must be all the L.O.V.E. shots! I’m so happy everyone has found a loving home in CCC — I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Hey Sonia,
I feel you, girl. I was labeled different too. It makes you loose confidence in yourself – and makes it hard to trust other people. But this place is different – and it’s all because of Michael.
Yes, let’s have another L.O.V.E. shot – one can never get too many.
And Sabine,
I know that video well. I have watched it countless times. Poor Michael. He has to put up with so much crap, and still he manages to turn the other cheek. I have always wanted to run in and grab him to save him from that ordeal. Yes, I think he managed to get through that interview because of his spiritual beliefs.
Reincarnation? Hmmmmm… I am almost tempted to say that I hope he will NOT come back. I think he has done more than enough. Let’s just allow him sit quietly in a field of flowers and enjoy the sunrise.
OMG!
I’ve seen this video so many times, and HOW can anyone look at it and not know Michael is telling the truth. As I always say I watch out for how people act, what they are saying, how, their expressions etc.
The look on Michael’s face in this interview when that dumb ass reporter is asking him all these questions is like…
:w00t: WTF..
That is exactly how I start behaving if I’m talking to someone and they say stuff or ask questions that are so OUTRAGEOUS! That you just don’t know how to feel. In such situations it just makes me want to laugh out of madness. There are two kinds of laughter, one when you do it out of joy and happiness. The other in this case because Michael is INNOCENT and he can’t believe the questions coming at him is like OH MY GOSH!!! Michael did ask the right thing “I don’t know what you’re trying to make out of this?” God knows. Because Michael was such a decent human, only he can behave in such a calm manner like this, had it been anyone else, they would have cursed their ass off, and perhaps even physically assaulted the cameraman.
Sabine, what you said all about religion and reincarnation is very much true. In Hinduism that’s exactly what they say. You will have to do your karma, and for that you keep coming back until you are purified. Of course this cycle of dying and being re-born is not endless it does come to an end, as you said, once you’ve gotten it right.
Yes, all religions go to the same destination perhaps the path just might be different (I guess that’s why you don’t believe in any particular religion), but they all say the same things which is the Golden Rule. “Do unto others, as you would want done unto you”. Michael was too pure hearted for this world, that’s why God took him early, but it was his time to go. People like Michael don’t come down into the world too often, and even if he does, it won’t be during our lifetime. As they say in Hinduism, when the wickedness of the world becomes too much, and unbearable, God will send down an angel to fight it. Michael may not come in this lifetime, but in another form in other time and place, era, he may, we man never know, when there is too much wickedness in the world. God also says that every person who fights injustice is a form of God himself, and I think Michael came close to this.
 Okay lets have another L.O.V.E. shot
Oh Just a last note…Sorry Sabine if I sound like I’m getting off topic
As far as Michael is concerned about being an example of humanity, I don’t know if you know this but the movie “Avatar” is a Indian Hindu word, which means reincarnation of God. I was surprised last summer when I went to see Michael’s “This Is It”, an English movie with an Indian title. An Avatar is someone God sends down to earth, as per Hindu teachings, (oh if I had to round of some numbers) once every several hundreds of thousands of years. I’m not saying Michael was Jesus Christ, but I’m guessing since people like Michael are so rare, that even Michael himself started believing at once point that just by touching children he could heal children, so in that sense YES, he was also an Avatar, a form of God, and I guess that’s why he was attracted to people like Princess Diana and Mother Theresa.
 Can you believe it I haven’t seen the movie “Avatar” yet, but I’m guessing if that’s why it appealed to so many people and broke all time box office records….will have to see, we were too afraid to go to movie theatres to see it because of that swine flue scare.
hi girls! i didn’t stop by to drink today , honoring Good Friday with my family but i came in to say “HI!” and here you are being all spiritual and stuff in the bar!! I love it here! I know i’ve said it before but “thank you “Sabine for opening up your ” home” to us wayward souls
Anyway, just echoing your thoughts on how privileged i feel to have found you all and i don’t think it was an accident that brought us all together in spirit from around the world. Amazing how connected we are
Blessings to all and have a happy Easter if you are celebrating it!
Sonia, girl, in a bar there is no topic!!!! In a bar and a barber shop, you can talk about any and everything. I’ve seen Avatar a bunch of times, Michael would have really LOVED this movie — it has all the elements in a story that he loved and that I love as well — speaking of the connection between man and nature, and with each other, how love for one another can bond us together and make us strong and more importantly how the body is just that a body, but it is not the essence of who we are, not our spirit– all of these things I truly believe in. Michael did speak about healing, and since in so many way dis-ease is a state of mind, IMO, I can see how just being in the presence of someone who is spiritually connected could have a healing effect on someone who is sick.
:woot: Negativity makes us sick, you know, that’s why I know Michael was super strong.
In Christianity we are thought that Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit, to help us fight the desires of the flesh. I believe the holy spirit is all around us, God in spirit form, and you find people who are filled with it, like Michael and Mother Theresa . . . and little babies :)
HI Gracie!!!! Happy Easter! We are honoring Good Friday here in NY, too!!!
You know, I don’t believe in coincidences. To me everything in life happens for a reason. I believe we are all here, connecting in this place for a reason! We just don’t know why yet!
Maybe it’s just to lust after Michael ?
Some how I don’t think so though . . .
i always miss happy hour…. :-( or in this case church hour… rotflmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yea this room is great, but i am upset because i have to travel on a bus for miles to go to my friend house to get on her computer, but she stays bashing mj right in my face… she is so heartless about him, and weve been friends for almost six years…. and i care for her but everytime she sees me on this site or doing something else mj related she says oh you on that wacko jacko site….etc. i told her that she hurts my feelings but she just laughs it off and walks away. and she’ll be like how can you love a child molester so much??? it really pisses me off and i told her about all the good things he done for us…. she dont care… i try my hardest not to cry in front of her, but she is the best friend i ever had in the other aspects of things and the only friend i have, but when it comes down to mj, shes so ignorant..i dont know what to do, i dont want to lose the only friend i have, or her free internet…. im stuck *sits there with tail tucked under butt* :-(…
Sabine
 Did you get me confused with someone else??? I don’t think Sandra came here. Girl your April Fools prank is bringing out people I didn’t know even came here.
 I wonder how many more there are secretly hiding somewhere in the corner???
I think you must have had too many L.O.V.E shots
LOL Sonia, my speedy commentator, yeah, I called you Sandra when I should have said Sonia, but the message was to you. If fixed it, though.
You’re right, I’m drunk on L.O.V.E.
MjQuan, that’s terrible about your friend. I mean I hear that you love her, but I don’ understand how she can hurt your feelings and be okay with that? Free internet is great but not at the expense of your feelings girl!
Ooooo, no one dares call Michael a child molester in front of me, I would read them so quickly!!!!!! Oh my God, I get angry just thinking about it!
I find that most people who talk like that have their own freakin issues that they’re not looking at. I wish you can get your friend to be more sympathetic. Win her over to the good side, make her read Cowboy Mike! LOL!
I really just don’t understand how anyone could look at Michael’s beautiful face and not fall in love :sigh:
that just shows you the far lenghts i go for michael…..
oh by the way sabine, im spreading the word to alot of mj fans on twitter about your site, so get ready for some more addicts……
OOoooo, goody MJQuan! Here’s another Thriller for you! YOu know I love my addicts!!!!!!
Testing…I promise you this is Mj. has anyone seen this yet? he wanted this to be released ‘Blood on the Dance floor’. but sony said no. hope it works…
she just came home… and looked at the computer and said that mj was a fake because, he had on that red and black soccer shirt and he dont play soccer, i said its just a shirt, she says whatever with his child molesting ass and laughs and goes to bed…. thats it, im going back home, you wont see my pic but i will still be leavings comments… i gotta find a library, i dont think i wanna be her friend no more, i cant take the hurt, its like shes pressuring me.
ok, im just gonna forget it and stays positive….. *grabs LO..V.E. shot hose and douses self with it* im spending the night in the recovery room, if you dont mind, i really need it…
Your friend is cold, oooooo. Girl, I don’t thik I could handle comments like that. You definitely need the L.O.V.E. hose! (((((((((((MJQuan))))))))))))
Oh wow, Sabine I just came by here and read your comment from last night and it just so happens that last night I watched “Signs” ( man that M. Night Shyamalan can weave a hell of a tale)…the ultimate ‘there are no coincidences’ movie so i have been thinking on those lines too and when i read your words it gave me goosebumps. I don’t know why we are here either, maybe it is to lust after Michael (LOL) but although he brought us here I believe it’s more. Maybe it’s just whatever we each take away from here each day…understanding, L.O.V.E. …maybe we pass that on to others in our lives and make the world a little better and maybe that’s enough.
I have always believed that everything is meant to be and i try to live my life following God’s will. It is difficult in a world where so many people try to create their own destiny and not give a thought as to how they fit into the destiny of the world as a whole. I happen to be Catholic (DISCLAIMER: I don’t want to offend anyone so Sabine, please know I am open and respectful of others’ religions…i truly believe that we are all on the same path ultimately, and no, that doesn’t make me a hypocrite, the Catholic church teaches that ANYONE can receive eternal life, only GOD can decide, not any one on earth and we do not proselytize, that is, try to convert others to Catholicism, so you all are safe to discuss anything, just know where i’m coming from) and I love to study the lives of the Saints (although studying art history in college, i was inspired by the saints well before i was Catholic! )and am inspired by that dedication, that openness to allow the Holy Spirit to work in you. I remember hearing Michael (I think it may have been on the Rabbi tapes) talk about St Teresa of Avila (not Bl. Mother Teresa) who experienced the Spirit as physical ecstasy (see amazing sculpture of her by Bernini) Many many of the Saints were viewed as crazy or mentally ill in their lifetime, many were lowly, poor, or ill, but they recognized the presence of the Spirit and . Michael’s willingness to accept his gift as a mission, a calling from God is something I always respected an admired about him. i am certainly not trying to make Michael a Saint, only pointing out that he approached spirituality in the same way, as we ALL can learn from their example.
I could go on and on about saints and apparitions and such but just one more relevant point, someone mentioned how people believed Michael could heal them with his touch, sensing the Spirit was strong in him (Gosh, that sound sooo Star Wars doesn’t it?) and if you think about it, it’s really not that far-fetched. IF you are feeling ill physically or emotionally, aren’t there certain people you want around you that actually make you feel better? Aren’t you overwhelmed by the miracle of life when you hold your newborn baby or your little on gives you a hug when you are sad? All healing begins with the spirit. Although I haven’t been there I was lucky enough to be blessed with water from the spring at Lourdes where people have been going for hundreds of years to receive healing. When we were receiving the water, we were told to focus on a particular person or trouble in our lives that was in need of healing. Many many of us were brought to tears that day by the Holy Spirit working throught the Blessed Mother, a poor Sister (St. Bernadette) and then 150 years later this woman who visited my parish. Amazing!
Anyway, perhaps this is all way too heavy for the barroom on Saturday morning but i had to get these thought out as all this stuff was converging on me in the last few hours! Back to Signs…I choose to see miracles, not coincidences
I’m with both of you Sabine and Gracie…
We as mere humans can’t see everything, but God who is omniscient knows all. All religions do lead to the same path and its such a shame that biggest message of any religion is L.O.V.E yet those few men at the top who use their powers for the wrong means and have the ability to influence the masses uses it for their own personal gains, and thus leading to alot of bloodshed. I’ve had friends of many religions and as a child I even use to study with Jehovah Witnesses at my home, with whom I became very good friends with. Now if Michael had come knocking at my door with his Watchtower and Awake magazines on a Sunday morning in disguise I would have just passed out, LOL!! Oh HOW I WISH!!!
Everything in life has got its reason and we just don’t see it but it has a meaning.
Let’s all have a L.O.V.E. shot now!
I know we can talk about anything, I think I will post comments in this area under Michael’s hayvenhurst thread. This is BAR!!! After getting drunk I don’t think we can be so philosophical, at least not me.Gracie you might want to check out a conversation Sabine and I had last night there, CHEERS GIRL! See you all later.
oooh Sonia thanks for the shot of L.O.V.E.!!! I feel much more like celebrating now that i got that heavy stuff off my mind…it’s nice to have ‘safe’ a place to “unload” here, but I think it’s a good idea to use the Hayvenhurst video room for our musings…anyway thanks for being out there and for listening to my rambling!
*throwing back another shot* Here’s to you and all the CCC addicts! L.O.V.E. you!
*lifting a shot of L.O.V.E. up high and looking towards heaven*
I may be an old atheist, but that does not mean I do not know what counts.
This one is for you dear addicts and for you, my darling Michael.
1 Corinthians 13:4
Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. LOVE DOES NOT COME TO AN END.
Thanks for proving it true.
Good morning ladies  You girls are funny!!!! I’ve been to bars where the talk is about religion, politics, sex, exploitation — alcohol has a way of freeing your tongue and allowing you to say things that you might not say sober. But if you feel better talking about this some place else feel free- this is a free place.
Gracie, I don’t believe in religion, so it’s next to impossible to offend me with religious beliefs. I expect and respect that each sect will have their own beliefs and I’m cool w/ that — I love reading about them all, and find that they are all pretty much saying the same thing. I will tell you though that I’ve found that some “religious” people can be the most hateful, mean spirited judgmental people in the world – it’s as if they hide behind their religion. The only other group I’ve found to have the most mean and intolerable are athiests, lol! I used to love to debate religion with them until I saw it was pointless. My position was that they said they didn’t have a belief when in fact they did, they believed that God did not exist. They always tried to say they didn’t have a belief. I found some of them intolerable because they just could not be okay w/ letting others believe. They would ALWAYS come on into the spiritual room of a forum I belonged to and try to rain on the believers parade, calling us delusional and what not.
As far as people having healing effects on others. You know, there are people who in their presence I get sick to my stomach, their behavior actually makes me physically ill, so why shouldn’t the opposite be true?
Sonia I always use this quote: Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. It’s one of my faves!
Bottoms up! *downs a L.O.V.E. shot*
Hey there Gracie
I’m so glad you got that of your chest. As I said yesterday, its a natural human thing to do, to want to share your feelings with others, as Michael was not able to always do that in his life, and so for that he really suffered. I think most of us had that problem at times, when we needed to talk but couldn’t.
You know talking about coincidences, I don’t know if these are just coincidences or what, but sometime ago MartiniGirl and EnolaLee were sharing their experiences they had at Michael Jackson concert. It blew me away that MartiniGirl saw Michael on my BIRTHDAY!!!!….
:w00t: I was like WOW!!! Instead of now just celebrating my birthday every year JUST cause its my birthday, I can relish in knowing UH HA!! On this day now I know where and what Michael was doing, it gives me a very warm feeling and very sentimental, because MartiniGirl and I are from the same country, not only that but Michael’s elder son Prince has the same birthday as my husband
 Two birthdays in our family to remember the Jacksons by I wonder if that is a coincidence or what?
 Okay girl, another L.O.V.E. shot coming your way!
Oh Hi Sabine, I see you and I were writing at the same time.
Here’s a L.O.V.E. Shot coming at you, CHEERS!!!
I do agree with you Sabine, I think the biggest religion of all is humanity. I believe and respect all of them, and I always felt religions are just labels to identify ourselves with, deep down at the core we are all humans, that’s it. I never could get along with my family because I was always the more broad minded one, who always use to take interest in other cultures, and wasn’t off limits to anything. My husband and I are of different religions, but that didn’t stop me, but my family sure had a problem with it. The only thing that mattered to me was my husband was a good human, who respected women and was very spiritual which to me was a big PLUS!!!
 Handing out lots of L.O.V.E. to everyone one
Sabine, I feel you girl…I know many people use their religion rather than practice it. For me personally, I have always been Christian but never thought an organized religion was important, I just came to that as an adult seeking a deeper way to put my personal faith into practice.
Oh Enola, thanks for the LOVE baby!!!
My very dear friend labeled herself an atheist for years but eventually came to believe in a “higher power”… whether you believe in God or not, it’s difficult to deny the spiritual connections of the universe. it’s all about the love….
Cheers!
I’m having a lunchtime Mabha…I really like those, don’t know why i don’t drink it more often
Oh, Sabine,
I’m sorry you have had such a bad experience with atheists. I call myself an atheist too, but I’m nothing like the ones you just described. I have no problems with other people’s religious beliefs. It’s none of my business. I was not brought into this world to judge other people.
Cutting the strings to religion was a conscious choise for me.
My mother is very religious and she gave me a hard time when I was a child. She was constantly talking about sinners and well, basically I think she scared the living daylights out of me. At the same time she openly voiced her prejudice towards other people, and I just couldn’t make it fit in with what the Bible said about “throwing stones”. In my heart I felt it was wrong, but at the same time I was so scared to think that way. So I was constantly holding my breath, waiting for lightning to strike me.
Eventually I decided I could not live like that the rest of my life. I turned away from religion and found peace doing so.
Maybe I’m wrong calling myself an atheist. The fact is that I’m not affraid to say that I believe the things Jesus said were brilliant. I just don’t believe he was the son of God. My intelligence tells me man cannot walk on water. But if you strip away things like that, well, then there’s nothing wrong with the word of the Bible. Does this make me an atheist? Or just someone who found her own personal way?
I don’t know. You tell me.
Enola, I think we are ultimately all finding our own way.
It makes me sad to hear how your mother USED her religion to terrorize you into being a ‘good girl’…I’m sure you know that she was not living her religion by doing that and i can see how it would turn you off of religion altogether. I was brought up in a generic Christian reformed church in a very small community and while i did take away lessons on Jesus’ teachings and how to be a good person, i just didn’t see the point of it and felt a lot of the people were just there to LOOK good and then were nasty the other 6 days of the week! So my path led me to find the Church as an adult.
We are raising our children in our religion but also in a community which is diverse and teaches them respect for others’ beliefs. I fully expect that they will eventually come to question God and religion and they will find their own path as well, whether in the Catholic Church or not, it is not my job to TELL them what to believe, only to guide them as they learn and grow in their own spirituality.
Don’t you wish I was your mom? I know…i’m sooo the “cool mom” ! (yeah ,right!) Actually I wish Sabine was my mom, she is so easy to talk to and so wise
all right, I’m out for the weekend…I’ll look for you Monday!
Hi girls!!!!
Elona, I’m not very big on labels! I think we human beings think we’re a lot smarter than what we are. We tend to dismiss things we can’t understand and try to make sense of everything, but our limited minds really just can’t. I think we try to label things so we can feel safe but by doing so limit them — when we don’t even fully understand yet. I guess it’s because the things we don’t understand scare us.
When I looked at my daughter, for instance, after she was born, I couldn’t believe that my body had been able to create such a perfect being.
Now scientifically we’ve gotten smart enough to be able to explain to process step by step. But we still can’t explain what makes her heart beat. Where does that energy come from?
If I relied on my intelligent mind to explain everything around me, I would be on a ship w/o a paddle! So I accept the wonder and beauty of the world around me, the magical things that I don’t fully understand, that I can’t fully explain. And I don’t need to explain it.
That was one of the arguments I used to have with Athiests by the way. They used to want me to explain to them who God wasand where “he” came from — I used to say, but I don’t need to explain it. I just believe. It’s something you have to experience for yourself and when you’re ready to understand you will.
But they were “too smart” — they didn’t want to wait for the enlightment to come to them. They needed to “know”.
Now as for religious mothers turning you off *raising hands* Til this day, I don’t like going to church because my mother used to force me to go! My mom is so very religious but not a very nice person.
As for Jesus being the son of God, this is how I understand it.
To my daughter, I am mother, to my mother, daughter; to my sister, sister, to my friends, friend, to you all, the “writer” but yet still I am still the same person inside.
Jesus just is — his spirit cannot be labeled, we only try to so we can understand. We use words like father and son, and the bible does to because that is what we can relate to. Yet Jesus said he and the father are one. I don’t think we spiritually will be able to until we are in spirit form ourselves, then we will come to full understanding.
But that passage you quoted! OMG, it’s so powerful. You know I’m convinced, some people have no idea what love is! Every line in that passage is so powerful to me. Love is the sum of those things, not one without the other but all of them together.
You know I find it so interesting we’re having this conversation while its Easter season over her in NY. Seems special to me!
“I’m having a lunchtime Mabha…I really like those, don’t know why i don’t drink it more often”
Gracie, you know you can drink those all day and all night, right! Sabah and Michael have staying power!!!!!!
“Actually I wish Sabine was my mom, she is so easy to talk to and so wise”
You know, Gracie, LOL! You are too sweet, but tell that to my daughter who complains about me endlessly getting on her nerves!!!!
I say we combine ourselves and make a fictional super mom!!!!! I want to be the first to sit on her lap and let her tell me a story!!!!!
hey im in florida, so that adds me to your list Sabine. Lol! But i was kinda hurt when you said to you all, writer. * scoffs* more like miracle worker. You make it a good day for me.
*popping in and looking for Michael… *cough* MJQuan*
Hey girls,
I’m not a believer either, I think there’s (maybe) something somewhere and somehow, I don’t believe in God or Gods or in any religion – I prefer to think that everything, ultimately, depends on us, not on any other “force”, person or power, of course that’s my own very personal opinion and I hope you’ll not kick me out of the Bar – but I like to say I like to believe we have Angels looking for us, like caring, but not deciding, helping, bringing the will out of you, looking at you from somewhere for when you need some more light in your life or some more strengh… and we definitely had an Angel here walking the planet, his message was music and his religion was L.O.V.E.
But I prefer to read what you all think about it because I can’t be at your level of speech!
Little shot of LOVE for myself.
Hey Annie,
If you don’t mind I’ll have a shot of L.O.V.E. too….
I’ll try to keep quiet today. Just want to sit here for a while and relax.
Wouldn’t mind if Michael showed up though…
Sure! Let’s have another one.
*looking quietly at Enola so I don’t spoil her relax moment, while waiting for Michael to show up*
*sniffing*
Say, is that Halo Mist?
*looking around to see where the sweet smell comes from, notices very old man in a dark corner*
Hey, when did grandpa come in?
There’s something about his eyes. I think…nahhh, I’m losing it.
*falls back into a trance*
Happy Easter Girls!!! Hey Elona *yelling and then whispering because I notice that the old man is nodding in the corner*
Hi Elona, it smells WONDERFUL in here!!! Now I need something strong. I’m so saddddddd!!!!!! I just woke up that way. And AnniesNotOk, I so look forward to your comments and you didn’t leave one on the new chapter except to say you were enjoying reading the other comments boooo hooooo  How can I not want a comment when you write beautiful things like this: we definitely had an Angel here walking the planet, his message was music and his religion was L.O.V.E.
What should I have to lift my spirits? L.O.V.E.?
I might have to drink a gallon!!!!
*turns off “Adagio” from Albinoni and puts on “Don’t stop till you get enough” from you already know who*
Who the hell put this on? Oh… this had to be that old GrandPa *shaking head* Enola left with him…?
Ok, I’m going to prepare a dozen of LOVE shots, so please, everybody help yourself. And I’m going to put this pic on the wall:

Now, I’m awaiting my reprimand *looking to Sabine with puppy eyes*
I still want my comment! Annie, don’t make me beg you!!!!
*gulping six L.O.V.E. shots back to back*
I don’t know how you girls imagine it tasting, but to me its very sweet and has like a cherry taste to it, maybe with a hint of strawberry. Like a Shirley Temple.
Uh huh…
*tries to leave the Bar tiptoeing*
*grabs Annie in a big hug and spills L.O.V.E. all over her* Ohhhhh, I’m so sorry!!!!!!
Here, let me clean that up for you!!! Have a SEAT!
*pulls out pencil and note pad*
Now you were saying about that last chapter?????
