She mixes a big batch of it every morning and though we’ve never asked for a specific list of ingredients, she says that it’s all natural and we trust her!!!

So delicious we naturally prepare two when it’s ordered because everyone gulps them down so quickly. BE WARNED: This drink WILL give you a particularly wicked alcoholic sugar rush. THE GOLDEN BOY: (Inspired by Enola) From the moment this Martini came into existence we knew it was special. Inexplicably sliding down your throat like icy cold molten lava, we struggled to formulate an adequate description. Fearing, because the drink was so powerful, that we would face multiple law suits if we put this volatile concoction on our menu we decided in the end it would only be safe to offer ONE drink PER PERSON per LIFE TIME. Ladies, ladies, before you protest, please try and understand: The Martini . . . shakes/stirs itself! (Cue dramatic music) ( O-O )
The Thriller
THE THRILLER — (Inspired by MJQuan) It sizzles, it pops, it dances in your mouth and then it gets down in you and makes you wanna dance, too. One sip, and your hand is up in the air, you’re pursing your lips and saying, “Oooooo”!!! This is our most popular non-alcoholic drink. You can take it all day and never get tired. Enjoy!

My favorite line in the whole essay Cherry:

It’s refreshing to hear someone honestly talk about how they’ve been intolerant and mean, and to say, THIS IS WHAT I DID TO CHANGE, instead of hearing the person bitch and moan about everyone else.
The truth is we only ever have the power to change ourselves. To me, the problem amongst MJ fans has always been projection and the inability to self reflect. It’s very easy to point fingers, but harder to look at that man in the mirror.

I am getting my Classical Yoga certification… I will be done by the end of August 2011.
I am taking both the practical and theoretical because I really want to delve deeper in this.
*lemme slip a little bad boy into my tea while I explain*
It is interesting you know what you say… it is so true – I have been a work in progress for years – and I find as I get older – I am fighting what everyone else is doing (meaning the people around me) – which is getting stuck in their ways – not keeping their minds and hearts open.. becoming intolerant of what is different.
I don’t want to be like that – now I am not saying I am perfect – but I am so trying to be aware and cognizant of my actions – not just for the people in contact with me but everyone now and after me.
I really struggle with a lot of demons from my past and one of them – probably the bigger is fear…. (I don’t have any replacement mascara here at work so I won’t go deep into that one!)
But I am looking for peace within myself and I don’t have time to worry what everyone else is doing… I really want to quiet my mind and get that clarity I have been looking for… but what I find it interesting is that everyone has a comment – direct or indirect – about the process I am going thru to take care of me..
That is why what Sara said really stuck with me..
What is wrong with having passion for life? What is wrong with shouting it from the top of your lungs that you love something and you want to share that love or passion with the world. Isn’t that what being a good person is all about?
Why is it considered weird or odd to speak out and be happily crazy sometimes.. life is short and you have to make the most of what we have!
It is like my reconnection with Michael (just like my good Danish friend) – rediscovering my love for him has been the greatest change in my life – my heart is so full of the unbiased love it is bursting. (crap tears! But it is so true!)
As you read in my little about me on my site.. when I loved him during those years I wrote about, it was insane and so intense – it was all encompassing and it felt so good to love him it felt amazing actually and you know he loved you/us too – you could feel it.
And everybody else did too – but they have conveniently forgotten they did – or it is not cool to say that they did.. whatever – you can lie to yourself – but don’t judge me or think I am odd that I admit that love is still in my heart and now I want to shout it out all over again..
I guess that is why I love chatting and meeting people online – as you get to know people – real people – I find they are more apt to say what they feel online when they are faceless to the other person – it is okay to be yourself.. and I get to meet great addicts like you and the other gals to realize we share a lot more than just Michael. It is wonderful actually!
Oh man.. geez – this sexy bad boy making my mind crazy and got my mind running like crazy and all over the place and off topic!

I’m not feeling so good myself at the moment (I’m not really homesick but everything is so complicated right now with the courses and not really knowing anybody in them…I feel really weird here sometimes, like I’ve never felt before, at least not as intense as that. But tomorrow is another day, right? And tonight there’s a party which might be fun ^^) so it’s soothing for my soul to read your words and I agree with everything you say. :heart:
Fear…that is one of my biggest issues too. Without getting into it too much, I am afraid of a lot of things and that makes my life more difficult than it could/should be… :sad:
I feel that way, too, it’s been the biggest change of my life although I feel that in some ways, how I felt before about certain things is only reinforced by Michael being in my life so it’s both a change and a rediscovery of myself in him almost. And it came out of nowhere, that’s what makes it all the more special and amazing to me, I never felt this way before in my life about anybody I think. Okay, I’m still young so that doesn’t mean much but, you know…I was a huge fan as a little kid, which I think is the best time to be a fan, just being in awe of his music and his videos and hearing and reading no BS whatsoever about him.
Then I spent many years without him, I did’nt hate him or anything, I was just interested in other things as a teenager. And then last year A LOT changed in a matter of hours and I met some really wonderful people and had some very special and amazing moments and days.
Still, the joy about that I still keep kinda private because most people can’t handle others being so passionate about something and I’m just too tired sometimes of fighting against that so I just share my love for MIchael here or with my other Michael friends and that’s it but it’s enough for me actually, it’s amazing!
So anyway, Michael’s words are true and I just listened to them:

Cherry, I just read your post and i’m sorry you feel bad right now but i KNOW you will be okay because you are reflecting and taking care of yourself. You have so much ahead of you! I am kind of jealous because my babies are getting bigger and I feel lately like the best years of my life are winding down. Those early years for me were sooo hard but so filled with promise and now I feel like all my dreams true and..now what? just not sure what is next for me.
Reading everyone’s recent posts makes me realize again the strength of Michael’s spirit. How many people all over the world feel just like us? How many of us who loved Michael as little girls and kept a little place in our hearts for him all those years when his spirit was imprisoned in his body, in his life on earth, were completely surprised to find ourselves feeling that love again? Confused by how we couldn’t stop crying? how the feeling didn’t go away over time? Amazing…how one beautiful loving spirit can bring so many people so much love and bring them together. all for L.O.V.E. :happy:

Mgirl, you know my daughter is taking yoga this year and she loves it. I think it quiets your mind and makes you reflect on life, just the act of sitting still, ya know. Here in NY, I don’t know about other places, but I see lots of people doing lots of things to distract themselves.
Now, what you’re talking about fear — pffft, that’s the human condition.
Ever see this movie called Sphere? It’s really cool, but it illustrates that perfectly. In my observation, we human beings are full of it.
And one thing that scares a lot of people is another person doing their thing, and reminding them of what they could/should be doing if they were’nt so scared.
So they try to stop you. By discouraging you, or criticizing you or telling you you’re being too much or whatever.
Because God forbid Mgirl becomes a licensed Yoga instructor and I’m still stuck doing this thing that I hate that I didn’t have enough guts to change. What a constant freakin reminder that would be! And who the hell wants that!!!!!! That’s the thinking girl :sad:

I was logged into my daughter’s FB acct and looking over my family’s pages — she’s friends w/ them and I’m not. In fact, my family is not allowed to friend me.

Anway I was reading their captions under their pics with their husbands and kids — I was reading the little comments my sisters put up to each other and my brother’s and sister in laws.
And I realized why I really don’t want them to be my friend, cause it’s all bullshit. And I don’t have time for it.
One person captions a pic with the two most handsome and precious men in my life, my hubby and son — but she hates her husband and he abuses her regularly, and the son, well, he’s got issues and no one is doing anything to help that boy
Another pic, eyes closed hugging her man — and the comments awwwwwweeeee, the two love birds, but that is the most dysfunctional relationship I’ve ever encountered.
Just small talk and congratulations and little positive stuff here and there, which is wonderful, right? And good, you would say?
Except it isn’t real. There’s no real love behind it or caring, it’s all empty rhetoric.
There’s little positive comments all over the place, ’cause everyone puts their best face on online, to me and you don’t really get into the ugly underbelly until you get o know them.
Now if they’re just regular folk, the underbelly’s not so bad, and you just turn the sucker over and concentrate on that lovely top coat.
But if they’re like my family, or say, that hater I had, pulllease, that under belly is a rotting, diseased smelly cess pool of dysfunction. And I don’t want to be talking to someone like that, not even on line, not even on the bus or the train or whereever and they’re all over.
And it’s not because I hate them it’s just that that stuff that they’re trying so hard to hide LEAKS everywhere, and I don’t want none of it on me.
But anyway, on a more positive note, Mama Gracie!!!!!!! Always smile when you come around!!!! :kissing:
It IS beautiful isn’t it, I mean we’re all connected, that’s what it is!!! And as long as we’re open and honest we can really feed off of the energy of each other. And that makes us feel alive!!!! And I think when tragedy or something beautiful happens and momentarily sends us crashing into each other, we remember that we’re all more alike than different and we feel wonderful!!!!
But alas, sometimes its too much for other people and they forget. It’s okay, lets just (like Michael) keep reminding them!!!!!
Now Cherry, you’re going through a new experience and they’re always scary, but remember courage is the thing you get AFTER you do what you’re most afraid of!!!!!

I had to laugh at you not letting your family “friend” you!! I don’t even HAVE a Facebook account simply because there are not that many people I care to have in my life and I have no need or desire for random people who I went to high school with (or are my “family”) to be in my business or to share theirs with me. I think it’s great to stay in touch with your real friends but for example, my husband has like a hundred friends, a lot of the people he barely knows and i just feel like they are showing off, you know? like “hey everyone, look at my awesome life.” Just like you said, like they are trying hard to make themselves feel good. Maybe i’m weird but i am very careful about who i let into my world.
Sorry, didn’t mean to go on a rant there. It’s just one of those things that grinds my gears. Like Box Tops! OMG, the other day one of my kids scolded me for not cutting out the Box Tops for school and i was kind of on the edge i guess and i totally lost it and went Rochelle on him and went on this rant about all the time and energy wasted cutting out the damn things for a couple cents and why dont they just GIVE the money to schools? cuz you know it’s the rich schools with parents who have time to cut them out and have the money to buy all the name brands in the first place so wouldn’t it be better to give the money to schools that really need it?? :lol: I don’t know why but that just set me off. Sometimes the world just does that to me.
Ha, ha, that’s a good way to describe me, a realist, yes definitey!!!! Girl, I’m always here, even if I’m in the background fixing stuff or writing!!!! I like to think of myself as an optimist/slash realist, but never a pessismist. To me FB is HS all over again. I like the way you put it, showing off about my random life!!! LOL!
OMG, don’t get me start on box tops!!! You know about giving the money to those that real need it, I was on the fence about the book that MJ’s bodyguards were writing because I feel anyone who writes books about Michael’s life should give the money to charity.

I love it, though. I get excited when I talk about it to other people so why not get more involved with it??? That and I’m looking into a film school in Seattle. So I’m trying to decide between the two. We’ll see what happens!!!
I’m glad that my words stuck with you. I’m actually thinking about putting that up in my blog so the people who made those nasty comments can think about what they said. They probably won’t but I’m doing it more for me than for them. So they can suck it. I don’t need shit like that in my life.
As far as Facebooks go and all that, I do use mine to keep in touch with people and hopefully to get back in contact with long lost friends. Sure, some of them are fake. But it is what it is. As far as I’m concerned, I’m still myself on Facebook. I post links to new movie trailers or I’ll post a Jackson’s song or talk about whatever one of my passions are making me happy at the moment. I don’t think I’m any different on my Facebook than I am in real life. But they are out there, that’s for sure!!!

I’m there in my MJ fan capacity, though and not in any other way. There’s no one from H.S. that I really ever wanna keep in contact with — my parents wouldn’t allow me to make friends back then anyway. And well, I’m like Gracie about fake people. It’s one of the reason I can’t stand corporate America and why show business nauseates me. I hate being “politically correct”. Don’t think I really know how to be actually.
If I’m talkin’ to anyone anywhere, facebook, here, in real life, you better believe I think they are real!!!! The fake ones I pretty much avoid.

Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know or appreciate you?
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in The FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.
You cannot change the people around you, but you can change the people you are around!
Remember, everyone does not deserve to occupy a front row seat in your life – adjust accordingly!

God, I wish Michael had really, really understood this concept. I wish he would have fired a number of people from his life!!!!!
A sure fire way to know who to invite into your front seat is when you have issues/problems. The people who are there for you in whatever way they can be, even on line, who offer an ear, who respond, who listen, who try to understand even though they might not get it initially those are the keepers. :heart:

I like that they said when they didn’t get paid they knew it wasn’t Micahel’s fault. People always complained about Michael and people working for him not getting paid, like MIchael sat with a check book every month and wrote out checks to people. He HIRED people to take care of that for him!!!

I hate most of Electro music, too, and I don’t like all the remixes of Michael’s song but on the other hand, I’m always so happy when they play one or two in a club…as a reminder that his music is still out there, also for non-fans. My sister LOVES this kind of music, we’re very different concerning that. Imo, she cannot appreciate real music! :tongue:
