Cowboy Mike, Novel Synopsis
It’s Lonely at the Top
Cowboy Mike begins in 1984, while Michael is staying at the Caribou Ranch in the Rocky Mountains near Nederland, Colorado. Just before he catapults into a mega career of unprecedented fame, Michael literally runs right smack into Sabah Graham, a young, independent woman from L.A. and begins a very intense love affair. Driven by an inner yearning for someone special to love, a woman who will love him unconditionally in return, Michael finds the answer to his dreams in Sabah’s arms, but true love comes at an exacting price. The fated lovers are taken from the streets of L.A. to the very edge of their boundaries, the start of the larger than life Bad World Tour. Michael is literally alone amongst a sea of faces, some who do not have his best interest at heart. He desperately wants and needs Sabah by his side but Sabah is not sure she is ready to abandon her life and go on a world tour. As she battles her intense inner jealousy she also struggles with the pressure of Michael’s growing fame. To top it off, someone very close to her threatens to make their very private relationship public. Their love for each other runs deep but Sabah’s own sense of obligation and their mutual mistrust must be conquered if there can be any chance of them being together. . . . .

Just dropping in to say hello and Thank You so much for revising the contents of this lovely novel. It makes it so much easier for us addicts to get to these chapters faster. The music is so beatiful until I am ready to move on to another chapter or siste but just can’t. He has such a beautiful voice and you know how I feel about the stories. Thanks again for all you time and talent.

It seems to have just surfaced. I’d say it’s real. I’m always surprised when I can find a picture of Michael that I’ve never seen before but they are coming out of the woodwork for sure :smile:
I really like the layout here. It makes it very easy to go back and reread. Which I definitely plan to once I finish Bad Boy Mike (which I am thoroughly enjoying, BTW!) I love your stories so much. Thank you! :cheerful:

Just to be clear…. I’ve already read ALL the Cowboy Mike chapters a long time ago. :cool: It’s what got me hooked on Mike and Sabah. :wub: I like the layout here because it’s like an index and it’s easy to go back through chapters for re-reading.

The environment seems more calm now. I remember how stressed you were when people kept harrassing you, Sabine. This story got me hooked to CCC, but unfortunately I haven’t been around too much because of school. I love the new layout; now you can get to the latest chapter with ease. I’m glad you didn’t stop writing Sabine, there are actually some people who read the parts of the story that don’t include sex. :smile:

speaking of reinventing oneself, on twitter which is what i used to sign in with i used another persons picture because at the time i wasnt that familiar with the net so i didnt want to put my real picture up and when i signed in here i didnt realize it would use that picture and i couldnt change it . finally after two years i finally got brave and put up my own picture. so that might be why you may not remember me. but ive been here since october 2009 when you first started writing cowboy mike. and loved it ever since. oh and i cussed out that chick desiree. lot of good it did . but it felt good anyway. hate the bitch sorry about my french

True story: My son, who is 16, took Cowboy Mike to school to show his English teacher! God bless his soul, I suppose he was proud of me and wanted to show the book off but he never said a word to me beforehand, he didn’t tell me until he came home. Of course he’s never actually READ the story and doesn’t know what it’s about.

He was like no, he just thumbed through it and said he wished he had the time to read it but asked my son to bring it back later on in the week. I told my son to tell me the truth, because if he’s read any of it I was going to skip English class during open school night for the rest of the semester. I can imagine the reception I’d get:

So, no Tame the Wild Cobra is not over, but after I converted Cowboy Mike into printed form and realized that it was 556 pages!!!! (at first it was over 2,000 with the pictures and all, and then I got it down to 800 and had to really crunch to make it 586 — I realized how much I was writing and that I needed to break the books up.)
Yes, I will make Bad Boy Mike into a printed book as well, but I don’t even wwant to think about BBM unil my muse comes back from where she’s been hiding.
Yes, it’s been pretty positive the book response from people who really do love art and books, I suppose. The real truth about human beings is we love things for free!!!!!! :wink: I wasn’t expecting anything from it; I did it really because I wanted to hold the book in my hands and see it, you know! the published gets most of the revenue because they are actually printing and delivering, though what would they have to print and deliver if I didn’t write it!!!! But anyway, that’s another story. I suppose lots of people will be buying when I decide not to pay money to re-new this domain and CCC goes POOOOOF! :lol:

Ahh yes you should be very proud of your creation, basically your baby. This is awesome, and I am truly happy for you. I can’t wait to tell my sister. She loves reading as well, and I told her about Cowboy Mike when I first discovered it. i had her read chapter one and she truly enjoyed it. However she has a desktop and is not fond of sitting at a pc reading all day, but she has her own library of books in her home. So she will be soooo excited when I tell her its finally in book form. :w00t:

Hi Sabine. My goodness it has been a long time since I have been here. Instead of spending my summer with romance and love, it was spent with family activities and duties. I can’t even remember where I left off so now I might have to start again! LOL – I could not even find the webpage again either. I had to search for you. The internet makes me feel so stupid sometimes. I am always messing up.
I hope that you had a good summer with your family. I think you said somewhere you have two children? I have 3, two girls and a boy. It was a busy summer for my kids, as always and my oldest just left for university this past weekend. I can’t believe where the time goes. How can she be 18 already?
