Cowboy Mike Sneak XXV Preview!
Sabah hung up the phone with a deep, gut wrenching sigh.
"Is everything okay, Ms. Graham?" It was the young purposeful security guard who had been assigned to her when she was kept prisoner at the hideout. He was smiling at her and holding the car door open, the car Michael sent for her. What was his name again?
"Hi, Colin," Sabah answered dejectedly when his name flashed in her mind. His smile widened as he pulled the car door open wider and all of a sudden Sabah felt awful. She remembered how rude she'd been to him when he was just doing his job, how she made him follow her for a half an hour in the grocery store for no reason and how she snapped at him when he tried to prevent her from buying those tabloid magazines. He was right to want her not to see them. They were awful magazines and she was an awful person. She just couldn't shake the feeling of being bad these days. The quest for a nurse to watch her mother was going awful. On every interview she just knew that the women were thinking, why is she hiring me when she is an able bodied, young woman? She looked in their eyes and saw what they were thinking. She was selfish, selfish, SELFISH.
Looking up, her big eyes were shiny with unshed tears, Sabah spoke in a low voice. "I want to tell you I'm so sorry for how I acted towards you when . . . " Her voice trailed away when a big tear crested over her lower eye lids and slid down her cheek. Colin looked at her in confusion.
"What?" It was hard to concentrate on what she was saying when he couldn't get over how gorgeous she was. Those weeks he worked with her, he had managed to hide it by being ultra-professional and serious. But it had been a while since he'd seen her and he'd d forgotten how breath-taking she was. "Oh, that's okay, Ms. Graham, it's understandable, with what was happening." He tried to comfort her.
"No, no, it's no excuse." Sabah rummaged through her hand bag and tried to pull out a tissue. Her tears were falling unchecked now.
"Ms. Graham, are you okay?"
"No, I - I - I aammmmmm o-o-kay." But she couldn't get the words out because she was crying harder and harder.
Colin shut the door and put his hand lightly on her shoulder and then took it off. "Do you want me to get someone, something?"
He was blocking the view of the driver who sat impatiently wondering what was taking so long for Colin to get Ms. Graham into the car. Sabah looked up at Colin who stood a couple of inches taller than her, and just a few inches away. She was so pretty, Colin thought to himself. He never realized how pretty she was. Her sadness reached out to him and before he realized what he was doing,
"What in the world!" Sabah snapped out of her sadness as she felt Colin's lips touch hers. It took her a half a second to push him away at the same time as she stepped back. It was the last thing she was expecting. One minute he was asking her if he could get something for her and the next minute she felt his lips on hers. How did she let that happen!!! A feeling of mortification came over her as she wondered how she was going to explain this to Michael! She had to tell him and he was going to blame her, she knew it.
"I'm so sorry, Ms. Graham." Colin's face was flushed and he was speaking fast. "I don't know what came over me."
Sabah wrenched the car door open and stepped inside. "It's okay. Let's just forget it." Oh, my God, did the driver see? She didn't dare knock on the partition of the limo to find out. Colin waited uncomfortably outside of the open car door.
"I'm so sorry," he repeated. His mind raced with the possible repercussions of his actions. One thing was certain, if Mr. Jackson found out about this, he was going to be fired for sure. "You're not going to say anything -- "
Sabah swung her head around to glare at him.
"I mean, I won't say anything if you won't say anything. It was a mistake. I swear. It's just that you were crying, and you're so beautiful." For a moment his voice was wistful.
Sabah eyes him suspiciously. Did he have a crush on her? How in the world did she miss that? When he worked with her before he was always so serious.
" I don't know what I was thinking." Colin blushed and Sabah's heart melted a little. " Just please close the door so I can think." She said quietly. And when he didn't move. "Please."
He did as she asked but as the car rolled forward, her heart thundered in her ears. She looked down at the heavy ring on her finger. Michael was going to kill her!

because it makes you think back to when you first read about him and what you remember about him.

Never mind about Colin, obviously he's not professional enough. Who wants a bodyguard, who is not professional in the first place? (I know I sound like a bitch, it's just that my hubby worked as a boduguard for years and...well, it just taught me that there is no room for error or personal stuff.)

oh it's so hard for someone to tell what should be done in such a situation... on one hand that Colin guy seems to have tried hard to be strictly professional and on the other hand that was very, very unprofessional of him... ugh why he has to be so jeaulous?? they've been together for like 2 years now... and he's firm when it comes to business... I just hope Michael will take the high road and not fire him if one way or another finds out about this little incident... but now I'm thinking about it he won't be able to trust him again and who knows what thoughts might go through his head if or when Colin is around Sabah... God, I keep daydreaming about Michael and Sabah when I'm supposed to be concentrating on something else! This is not good! I mean, of some scenes I remember the exact wording because you described things so well, Sabine and so...graphically and I can't stop them from coming up every now and then.
So I really ned this new, as it seems drama-filled chapter to cool off a bit! *hint*

I figure this is something that is so unimportant it's not even funny, bringing it up to Michael will open up another can of worms, making Michael not trust Sabah, and thinking she led him on or is cheating on him, this will make Sabah angry confirming her suspision that MJ doesn't trust her, and they will definitely break up, NO Tour, NO marriage, No NOTHING, the end of Sabah and Michael.
It really meant nothing, I would have no problem keeping this from Michael because what have I got to be guilty about? NOTHING, a man that works for Michael, has a crush in me, and made a move on me, that was not my fault, I never led him on, or continued with the kiss, I've never given this guy a second thought before or even had a conversation with him, he was completely out of line and acted purely on impulse. This is going to add unnecessary drama to their relationship, however if he persists in his pursuit of Sabah she should tell Michael that this man is harassing her but at this point it's harmless and should be overlooked. Not everything that happens in your life should be shared with you partner because there is no need. There is no purpose in Michael knowing this, men get jealous easily so they will always make a big deal out of things.
This is not an issue, Sabah should just laugh it off.

I definitely agree with you on the point that Sabah should not feel guilty. She didn't tell that idiot to try to kiss her.
However, I know if it were my fiance and that happened to be me with one of his coworkers or employees, I would tell him exactly what happened. Not to start drama, but more on the lines that, if someone else did happen to see anything and blab to him first, that would make it worse on me and the relationship and he'd want to know why I kept it from him. (Which would definitely lead to him not trusting me in the future). Also, telling him now will prevent it from happening again in case the little simpleton just doesn't get it.
I think it's completely unacceptable for Colin to try to kiss his boss's fiance. It's not like he doesn't realize who she is.
I also don't think that Sabah telling Mike would lead to him wanting to break up with her or him canceling the engagement. If he were to do that for Sabah being totally honest with him (which is what he wants her to be), then he doesn't need to be in a relationship.

Hi Sabine!! What a surprise to come home after being gone for 5 days to find this yummy surprise here. The most breathtaking picture of our beautiful Michael. I had to pause for a few minutes to take it in!!! I can't wait to read this coming chapter. Just hoping Sabah goes on tour with Michael. Yep, Ladake, in my mind Saniia IS Sabah -- or Sabah is Saniia reincarnated, it's the only way I can write the story since I see Sabah as Michael's soul mate.
Now I will be sure to send on the message to them that everyone wants to know every single detail of what they're doing on their honeymoon/not- so- honeymoon since there was no wedding.

To me, in PM Saniia means the same to Michael as does Sabah in CM, the ONE for him.
They play the same role but in my head Saniia and Sabah are not the same concerning personality and looks. And Michael is different in both stories, too.
Yeah, well over centuries, looks change, personalities change, but the soul, the soul remains the same; that's how I see it. Michael is different in both stories because the times and the circumstances are different so different parts of him get fleshed out.

Okay, the soul remains the same, still I think from the way you describe Sabah and Saniia that they are
different women, they have different characters, different issues. The play the same Role in Michael's life though. I can't explain it any better but it's not that important anyway, just wanted to say that I keep the stories and the girls seperate in my head because I get a different feeling from each of them.
They are different women with different life experiences. For instance, Saniia is more open and free because she didn't have an Antoinette dominating her and abusing her.
Saniia didn't have to develop a defense mechanism and have to pretend that she doesn't want what she really wants so in that way you can see the soul as Sabah learning a lesson that it previously didn't have to learn. Also, you should see some similarities -- some strengths and maybe even weaknesses, that the soul carries from life to life.
Don't mind me, I get off on this type of stuff but I'm loving that you see each character as distinct, looking and acting differently and even see Michael differently.
I hope to display in Tame the Wild Cobra, what Michael could have been -- would have been if he had never been burdened with the obligation to perform for us. If he got to be his own beautiful free self.
Of course in both stories he has Joseph, so, you know, he still has to work on that.
Yes, that's exactly what I meant, Saniia seems to be much more childlike because she is that mixture of innocence and curiosity or even boldness, her soul hasn't suffered as much as Sabah's so she's freer to enjoy life. She doesn't have such a horrible mother and all the issues that comewith that for Sabah.
Maybe my different perception of them is due to the fact that you used a lot more "negative" words to describe Sabah. She is controling, stubborn and jealous, she acts childish when she's mad and so on. On the other hand that makes her more real than Saniia and of course CM is more real than PM anyway. Saniia is more this fairytale heroine and I mean that in a good way, I like her very much. And both her and Sabah each fit very well into the worlds they live in, I can totally imagine them there yet they are different from the other women who live there. That's what makes them exciting and fun and I identify with them.
Totally, the Michael in Tame the Wild Cobra is how we all wish he could have been in reality, how he was supposed to be. But it's also the setting of the story really, the time, the place, he's a prince with some knight-like qualities, he can literally fight for you, he can ride a horse, he's connected to nature, he's idealistic but not to a fault which would make him boring, he's charming, he's funny, he's just royal! :) It's actually perfect that you're writing both these stores because when things get real and adult and deep in CM it's all the more fun to enter Prince Michael's world. This story is like something out of the Arthurian legend, very mystical and romantic.
Don't get me wrong, I love the real Mike in Cowboy Mike just as much, it''s just nice to see, as you say, how things could have been in a different ( maybe former
) life.
Oh I love it...the more controversial, the better...I want fights, hair flying everywhere...haha...joking of course...but I'm dying of curiosity to know how Michael will react when he finds out...or maybe he will never do? hmm...or maybe this kiss is only the beginning of an affair between Sabbah and Colin while MJ is away on tour? or maybe the affair only starts when Sabbah sees Tatiana kissing MJ cause he's going on the Bad tour now right? Gee, curiosity killed the cat, only I am not a cat...hahaaa

Like I didn't realize until you said that Sabah has a lot of negative qualities . . . .she does, but why do I love her so much?
I guess 'cause she knows and she tries to be better! NOthing wrong with having bad qualities, it's not knowing you have them or pretending you don't that's the kicker!
And I didn't realize but I guess you're right, even still both are different enough to catch Michael's eyes and keep him caught!

I think Michael and Sabah are both young - emotionally - even though they are late twenties, nearly 30! This is going to be so hard to work through I imagine - it would be for anybody!
In a way - I'm going to stick my neck out here - Sabah seemed to be inviting him! Although that was just his perception - she was obviously staring at him as she was trying to remember his name and then she appeared to be opening up to him, with her tears!!! It certainly wasn't her fault, but I think Colin totally misread the situation. OH MY GOD - what if he is GENUINELY in love with her
